We really liked the room size, location, brightness and the view. It was close to the Port Hardy ferry and was quiet. The room foyer entrance was a very nice feature and the large entrance closet to hang things was great!

Our initial reception wasn't too positive but later was good. We didn't go for breakfast because it wasn't in the same building and it didn't look like a welcoming place to eat. No one else was in the restaurant the night before around dinner time. The bed could use a new mattress, we could feel the springs.

The staff front desk staff were incredibly helpful. Housekeeping did an immaculate job. The pool was gorgeous, the view was nice, and the area nearby had good access to transit & places to visit & eat.

As beautiful as the hotel was, the facilities for food felt lacking. More over if you're not there for business of some kind you almost feel like an outsider. The hotel is so expensive and it would be worth it *except* amenities that other hotels offer guests for free are locked behind their "diamond membership" so while the staff is amazing, it feels like upper management's choices are worsening the experience.

Location is great in downtown Vancouver. The room was very spacious and we had a great view over the bay. Clean and the pool was a nice addition.

the smell of the house the smell of the beds, sheets, pillows (smelled of terrible body odour) the smell of the common areas, hallway Parking is super inconvenient mosquito problem in bedrooms (killed 6 in two days) loud guests after 11pm poor cleanliness of the bathroom no control over climate in room no towels in the room - spend the extra $$, stay in a real hotel or guesthouse
