The location and accommodation were great (thats why I booked there) BUT we like to shower before going to bed after working long shifts in the dust and dirt and like to toilet to flush without having to cart water to fill the cistern.

Being able to shower and use the toilet after 14hr nightshifts would have been great instead filling 600ml water bottles to shower and flush toilet, thought it was a given that there would be running water, apparently it was better during the day, however we were asleep during business hours and when I booked, I stated a quiet room due to nightshift work. Management were advised the first day and stated would be sorted, so they knew about it. Had I had known the Construction was going to affect people who worked nights I would have booked somewhere else, an awful experience.

Liked venue, price, position, room allowed for me and my 2 adult daughters to stay together. The restaurant had a good vibe and nice meals and not too noisy although slow service.

Three people were booked in, the sofa bed was made up prior to our arrival, which was nice but it meant no where for us to sit and chat comfortably except on the beds, There were 3 wine glasses yet there were only two coffee cups and not enough tea or coffee for three people staying overnight. The girls night in package we paid for consisted of a white wine not a sparkling one a bottle of orange juice that was frozen and couldn’t be poured - this was not the mojitos advertised and a very meagre packet of chocolate. Not value for money - would have done better to served the drinks package from the bar! We were not aware that there was a DJ and music till after 12am right below the bedrooms! but luckily we were all so tired we went to sleep despite the loud music.

We were greeted by the property agent and whilst informative was a little officious in her manner. The furniture was tired and need updating. Items were stained or broken. 3 of the dining room chairs were threadbare and we didn’t want to sit on them. The whole place needs a good deep clean, the ornaments and bookshelves all had a thick layer of dust. Would benefit from a refurbishment. The automatic lock on the front door didn’t fill us with confidence and there was no extra lock to use at night when staying, we felt insecure especially for the bedroom by the front door. For a property that sleeps 6 there was also not adequate hot water for all to have showers. There were 4 of us staying. The WiFi only worked in one of the cellar room. No response from property management when these points were raised on checkout. Apart from the location it was a disappointing stay and not the usual standard we would expect for the price.
