Positive section of review
Location is super great for my stay in Alex hotel. It was a pleasant surprise to how near (within walking distance) to popular shopping and dining in Perth City in the Central business district. For most of other attractions in Perth City, Uber services are easily accessible too. WA Perth Museum is just right beside the hotel, another hidden gem. Decor of the hotel is modern is boutique vibe. Hot showers is working great too!

Selection of Breakfast is very limited. I saw from the reviews that spread of breakfast was great. Unfortunately they serve only bread, fruits, cereals, juices and yogurt, coffee..thats about it. No eggs, ham, cheeses, or others like full hotel breakfast sort. Sound proofing of the hotel is not very good. You can hear door closing from neighbouring rooms, and music from neighbouring bars at night even with windows sealed. Ear plugs are provided but that also means it is a known issue. No toothbrush provided. Wifi connection is not very strong. Normal rooms are small.

The room was cozy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Location is great with the beach promenade around the corner, and tram and bus stop virtually in front of the property. It also comes with secure car parking and the airconditioning worked vey well.

Better snack options. The sandwich in the fridge looked a bit sad, and a few more coffee pods would be helpful, but overall it was fine.

Reception were friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and it was of a good size. The bed was comfortable and I slept well every night. The location of the hotel was also very central and around lots of public transport, so it was very easy to get around.

Whilst I liked the breakfast, I thought it was perhaps a bit expensive for 22 dollars as only continental was offered. The wi-fi was occasionally a bit slow. There is only one lift operating, so getting to reception or the ground floor can be slow at peak times. Having said that, these are all minor things and I'd happily stay back at The Capitol.

Location for us was perfect , room was spacious and comfortable although it was a little dark but was quiet. Restaurant was very good, I highly recommend you try it.

We stayed for one week, a small kitchenette with no cutlery or crockery to have snacks . ( for a cheese platter) We called if they could bring a knife a plate and they wanted to charge a delivery fee.

The worst room I have ever stayed in It was dirty The spring coming out of the mattress The jug was dirty The cups in the fridge dirty Damage to the walls stains all over the walls and floors I didn’t even shower as the shower just looked dirty and filthy would never stay again I had other photos but My children are in them
