“As I am an 'old China hand' I am very familiar with, and fond, of Chinese food, therefore I really enjoyed the Chinese buffett offerings. The hotel's location is very convenient for people wishing to be a central location in the 'old' city with close proximity to Taishan and other scenic sites, also for government for those on official visits. The hotel is generally very clean and well maintained. The entire exterior structure was being repainted whole I was there. The staff are genuine and welcoming in all areas of guest contact. But foreign guests need to be relealistic about language ability of front line service staff. Duty Managers and most Reception staff English is very adequate. Chief Concerige has good English.”
