Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

AustriaWell, everything was great. A couple of remarks: - Please provide a bigger hairdryer - this one is like a toy! :-) - There is quite a traffic jam at breakfast.
The hotel is located at a strategic place in Copacabana - close to the beach and many shops and good restaurants. The staff is great - very helpful and professional. We needed to make a video conference during the night and they did their best to help us, including by providing headphones. The rooms are big enough and quite quiet. Beds are very comfortable and they even had - hallelujah! - low pillows. The rooftop bar and pool are a great place to have a drink or sunbathe. Breakfast is plentiful and has all types of foods. Overall, a very recommendable place to stay in Rio.

United StatesThe hotel is one which is very popular with large tour groups so there are times when the reception area can be a bit overwhelmed by both people checking and those checking out. Members of these tours can be a bit loud as they interact in the dining room at breakfast and all tend to arrive at the same time so it's nice to find a way to avoid them.
The breakfast buffet with its fresh fruit and juices is incredible, and if you are lucky enough to score a table by a window you can enjoy a nice view of the beach. At times things are quite busy so you need to flag down a server for coffee but they do work hard to be attentive. I loved the view of the ocean from our room which was large, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable with very nice linens

United KingdomThe standard rooms, although very nicely decorated and fitted are very small and only suitable for travellers with limited luggage.
This hotel is part of the Windsor chain and is probably one of their best. It has a very nice dining room with plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. The staff were very nice and helpful esp the porters, and reception staff. We did not book a superior room initially but were transferred to one as our standard room was noisy at night as it was next to a service lift. Therefore, comments are based on the superior room. However, both the rooms were very pleasant, with nice furnishings, a fridge, air con and clean and comfortable. Very convenient location right on the sea front. Very nice infinity pool on the roof.

The staff is just incredible and very helpful. They went out of their way to help us organise day trips and their suggestions for restaurants was spot on. Despite the size of the hotel they remember us by name and that was very thoughtful. The location is great - right on the beach and close to Ipanema. Very easy to get around.

South AfricaA recommendation is not to have to charge your clients a premium in the room for a morning pod of expresso for the machine in the room. Small thing but it did seem unnecessary!
The rooms were luxurious and the bed was a dream to sleep on - the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. We were very comfortable at the hotel. The lobby is quite small and can feel crowded at times. The staff is very attentive and helpful as you would expect from a hotel like this. It is easy to get a Taxi or Uber from the entrance- security is also great! The hotel supplies chairs, Umbrella and supplies beach towels. We were very happy with our stay.

Key card didn't work on several occasions so had to get it changed at reception. No non-alcoholic drinks available i.e beers, wine & cocktails.
Great breakfast choices. Large comfortable room and bed with nice extras. Very convenient location for all top sightseeing attractions. Air conditioning throughout hotel and room. Late check-out available. Very helpful and polite staff.
