Enjoyed everything

The hotel is very well situated on the beach and it is easy to walk along the front or walk to Ipanema. There is a supermarket just around the corner. The beds and , in particular the pillows, are very comfortable indeed The restaurant food was very good, just a bit on the pricey side. Unusually there were no bedside lamps for reading.

The fact that the Nespresso capsules in the bedroom were charged

The hotel was exceptional in every respect. From the moment I arrived and was offered a sparkling wine as I checked in, to the moment I left. The rooms were fantastic, the place was spotlessly clean, the rooftop bar and pool is amazing - sunsets up there were something else - the breakfast and food in general was very good, and the staff incredibly polite and attentive. A special mention to Joao Victor on reception and Antonio at the rooftop bar - two absolute superstars and a credit to the hotel. I plan to return to Rio one day soon and already know I will stay at the Miramar.

The beverages are very expensive, including small bottles of wine and Nespresso coffee in the room. Not justifying the price.

The location across from Copacabana beach was just great. Rooms were wonderful- great bedding, fantastic shower ( so appreciated after cruise trip). Breakfast is fantastic , windows to look out. Staff helpful. Rooftop great at night

Not enough shade for us around pool area and terrace as it was pretty hot.

There was a big tree blocking the view of the beach

Breakfast was good, but it's not for mirning tea drinkers. It wasn't possible to get a normal pot of black tea, but just a small cup that had to be refilled with water a couple of times.

Great service, especially from the porters in the lobby. Italian restaurant was excellent, particularly dinner. Great view from our room (See sunrise shot below).

I can’t think of anything. Everything was exceptional.

I loved the breakfast buffet, the rooftop bar, and the views of course! The front desk staff and bellmen were pleasant. I regret not getting their names.

Cant say I didnt like anything!

The pillows were heavenly! So many and very soft like the bedding. Shower had great water pressure. Room was classic and we could see the beach. It was clean and everyone classy and polite. They come open your taxi or uber door. Felt special there. Plus a champagne welcome! Touches are so nice like that! Breakfast was very complete with lots of yummy variety and a cooked omelet station.

That we couldn't stay longer! The only slight snag was some of the weight lifting equipment was quite dated.
