Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I like that the hotel was clean and not too far from the airport. I loved that you had to put gloves on while serving yourself in the restaurant, definitely made the stay even better. The staff was ok, could have improved on the pleasantries but it was fine for the time that I was there.

Canadathere are 3 elevators that are always busy and limited capacity. TV offered only one channel in English (CNN). More English channels would be beneficial. Staff is very accommodating, but very limited English, particularly in restaurant
convenient location in Flamenco. lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. A beach 5 minutes walk away. The room was large and clean, the washroom was roomy. Nice view from the restaurant on the roof. The restaurant on the main floor was also roomy and offered a buffet breakfast with lots of fresh fruits and either a la card or buffet dinner. Overall, good impression and good value for money.

United StatesThe check out process was terrible. There was a HUGE line to check out. They made everyone wait in this line to check out even if there balance was zero. They had to check each room when someone checked out to see if there were mini-bar expenses which meant going into each room to manually evaluate -- obviously hugely inefficient. We used nothing, so I waited 35 minutes in line to be told I have a ZERO balance as I already knew. If the hotel has our credit card info on file. This is not how mini-bars work in other countries.

Good location and value for money. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. Great rooftop terrace and pool. All areas were very clean. Staff were very helpful and let us pay a little extra to keep our room until 6pm, as we had a late flight. Plenty of restaurants and cafe’s nearby. Flamenga beach is a 10 minute walk away
