breakfast was poor, no fridge or water heater/boiler, 5 min for hot water in showers, lack of room service, changing toilet paper. NO LIFTS

calm, pleasant, good cozy rooms, overall met the expectations. had a balcony that used also as a fridge. on a good snow conditions we could ski in and out! full parking space and free water from the mountains

Unfortunately it wasn't too clean when I arrived, had to ask the next day to sweep some hairs and dust from the floor, looked like it wasn't really much swept before. First day i got coffee to the breakfast, the next day when I asked for the coffee i was told it's paid additionally - I said no problem, then i was charged also for the previous days coffee as well. Also lady pouring the coffee was asking if this is already enough starting from half of small espresso cup. Really weird coffee experience. Wasn't looking for luxury at all, but overall experience wasn't great, old damaged sheets and blankets etc. Price/quality ratio is not good.

Location perfect for hiking / being close to the forest and mountains if that's what you are looking for. Minimalist but ok breakfast, with nice herbal tea.

The hotel is very old, the beds were not very comfortable, the bathroom was too small and smelled bad. Still, I think the price was fair.

The location of the hotel is good if you travel for hiking in the mountains. The woman that was managing our reservation was actually doing everything else - she cooked us a nice dinner, serve and cleaned the table. She was nice company and offer to prepare us breakfast from the evening before as we were to depart very early in the morning. She even made us tea at no cost.

The breakfast was poor, what's more no coffee is included. It's not worth the price, too high for these conditions.

The location is nice, really beautiful in the mountain.

The Wifi was a bit dodgy one day, but the mobile/cellular phone connection is brilliant, so it wasn't an issue.

I love this place :-) I wanted to hike and photograph the snowy mountains, and it was wonderful for that. It might not appeal to everyone, as it's a rustic hotel in the middle of the forest, but for its closeness to nature half way up a mountain, it's a great place to trek from.

The location is the nearest to the ski resort(if you have a car). That helps to avoid the queue every morning at the Gondola. The lady who manages the hotel is very kind and she gives all the best she can!!! The room is very warm!!! Definitely we will return!!!

Hotel Ekaterina a is perfect place for both winter and summer activity. Absolutely quiet and comfortable.

A total mislead of expectations. We tried to contact the property a couple of times to elongate our stay. The phone left here and on google is fake - the staff confirmed it. I payed for a triple room and they gave us the smallest 2 beds room at first. After an argument they happened to have only a condo ( 1 double bed and one double-decked left, which we took. They charged us 60lv for two dogs(which is not mentioned anywhere), which is the price for 3 nights stay, not for 2 as I booked. I had to argue with the staff again about it. We paid for a New Year’s dinner - 100lv. per person. What we received was product with expired date. The alcohol was expired, the wine was diluted with water, the meat and the desert had a rotten like taste. The staff was impolite and grumpy. It was a horrible experience. We’ve been to cheaper, and much better places in the region. I’ll never make the same mistake choosing the place by the view. And this place should be completely shut down.
