How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Check out was at 10am. Staff were knocking at our bedroom door at 9:20am
Nice area. Restaurant nearby. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

The original room allotted to us was old and extremely dated which was not the newly renovated room that was advertised on booking.com It was rectified by a lovely young man at reception, who was quick to move us to a nicer room. The remainder of our stay was very comfortable.

The property is huge, can be quite overwhelming when going to the resort. The signage I found super confusing to know exactly where my room was and on a busy visit parking was quite hard to find.
The resort in itself is spectacular place, I walked around most days down to the beach and utilised the pool. And the upside is the location of the resort is close to town to drive to.

Check message could be more precise by saying in which tower you are to check in. There were some things broken in the room like hot water shower knob fell off, light switch near bed for switching of main room lights disappeared in hole. The room doesn’t get dark during the night . The hallway light shines through the big gaps between room entrance door and door sill. Also blackout curtains are not strong enough to keep the bright light from outside lamp posts and covered hallway lights to other app. Also every 3 seconds 2 bright red lights blink from the smoke detectors on the ceiling in the area the bed is placed. So improvement is needed or stay at a higher floor maybe.
Nice room, ( nr 3205 level 2) clean, facilities around the resort, walking distance to small beach , very nice restaurant on side bar &grill which served quality food! Free parking

Signs to get to property were non existent. I would have had loads more trouble if I was arriving out of hours

Room is in need of refurbishment. Cracked vanity sink , ensuite tiles chipped, air conditioner vent was missing.
Quiet environment, sharing with another resort, size of room. Close to beach.

No lift access to the terrace was a good and bad thing. There was lots of walking in between the facilities and to the main reception area. But such a beautiful spot that the walking was good exercise. Just not wheel chair accessible for those needing this access at The Terraces and hard when you have little children and lots of luggage to go up and down the stairs.
We loved all the facilities and such a great spot to take your family. The kids loved using the basketball court, tennis court and multiple pools. I loved walking up every morning to the sound of the beach nearby and all the wildlife around. Husband had a great time playing golf which was onsite and cheap to do. We will definitely come back and maybe try one of the other hotels on the grounds.

The location was good, the only complaint was that we were not told that the Restaurant would not be available on the night we were there as they had a function. Had to drive into town for food.

Expecting a full menu so very disappointed when we only had a couple of choices. You need to advertise this. Unfortunately our meals were very underdone, pasta not properly cooked and pizza not as advertised. Sorry, just being honest, staff very good

The mattress was not firm. The shower head in the room allocated to me needs a replacement. The water from the shower head was very slow.

We have stayed here and will continue to do so on our regular trips to and from Sydney. Helpful friendly staff, comfy rooms, some with great views. The only downer is wifi can be hit and miss but this doesn't bother us.

That at 5pm I wasn’t able to get help to make my sons sofa bed and had to do it myself as well as having to chase bedding. The room needs a lot of maintenance as it’s run down.
