How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Wasn’t aware that reception closed at 4pm Had booked online and elected to pay at the property, not at time of booking. Without approval, transaction taken from my card prior to arrival - this is really inappropriate - seems to happen a lot The doors are actually a fair bit smaller that the door frames - so lots of cold draughty coming into apartment making it hard to keep warm

If you are a female with long hair bring a hairdryer. The hairdryer in the bathroom is basic. The television was difficult to use if you did not want to see a live streamed free to air television show. Couldnt find access to SBS on Demand and ABC iview was possible but tricky. The wifi is good and I ended up using my laptop.
If you have a car these apartments are well located. Good cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Walk to Lake Burley Griffin and Depot Markets not too far. Drive to galleries/museum is a few minutes. The location was quiet. We were in a two bedroom apartment. The beds in each room were queen size and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and included a washing machine and dryer. The Manager at reception was very friendly and helpful and brought us a bottle of sparkling wine when he heard it was our wedding anniversay.

Only because you’re asking, i found the couch a bit uncomfortable and the utensils could use an update (the veggie peeler was a but blunt), but it was fine. The car park location was a bit tricky for prams and luggage.
Serviced apartment with all the creature comforts of home. Big TV, clean and spacious with outdoor garden with seating. Excellent water pressure in the shower, large kitchen with heaps of bench space. Great location.

An excellent location (the Manuka shops a 5-10 minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants, and a central location giving easy access to main sites). The staff are friendly and helpful. The swimming would have been a treat in warmer weather.

Having a lift would have been good as I was on the top floor. Quite a few stairs. Kids next door pretty noisy.

Would have been handy to have a broom or hand vacuum in the room, especially after all the rain we had. Perhaps some hooks to hang wet jackets?
Spacious, up to date furnishings. Liked having a back door and patios front and back with seating. Shady for sitting outside. Quiet location was excellent for our needs.

Can hear a bit of the water running from upstairs, but not a major concern, unless you need complete quietness. Kitchen isn't 100% clean but also acceptable. There was a milk already opened and left in the fridge. We told the staff and they apologised and gave a new one straight away.
Staff is very friendly. The location is very convenient. Close to Manuka shops, Parliament House and the Old Bus Depot market. The room is spacious. On site parking is also convenient.

Reverse heating/cooling was temperamental eventually got it going. The key opener at road to get into complex after hours was very tricky in dark. It was pity we were there for w/end with minimal staff around next time we'll try to stay on weekdays.

Bathroom a little small and furnishings in room a little dated but did not negatively impact on our stay.
Spacious, very clean, well equipped kitchen. Pool was modern, very clean, and good size - more than enough for a quick dip. Our family room was off the main street so was very quiet, no traffic noise, also no noise from neighbouring rooms etc. Parking is available on site but we were able to find free on-street parking close by as well. Great location, walking distance to cafes etc and easy drive to main tourist sites. Would definitely stay again!

Adding on an additional parking charge after booking feels a bit sneaky and not sure why this can't be included in total price or just offered free but otherwise we were very happy with the staff, location and cleanliness.
It's very conveniently located to Manuka shops and Kingston Hotel and other restaurants, and it was very very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

the air conditioner was extremely smelly, it needed the filters to be cleaned. it was a good thing we did not require to use it as my rating would have been extremely low, the smell was unbearable.
