Perfect location for getting around Greenwich & using public transport once we were there. Parking was good, right by the house, and not expensive for London (£15 per day). Good kitchen too, not that we used much. Lots of places to eat out. Easy access to River Boats to get around the city. Lots of safe pedestrian walks - good for cyclists too.

The spiral staircase would not suit all age groups & I would worry a bit with children, but we were fine. The furniture wasn't the most comfortable, but it was ok.

Perfect if you like a non generic hotel type stay. Tucked away right along the winding undulating narrow roads this area offers quite near Coniston Water. A great view across the fields with a charming rural ambience matched by friendly non intrusive and considerate hosts. The rooms and guest areas feel very relaxed and homely.

As a B&B for me this was just what I was looking for and there are enough pubs and restaurants not too far away by car for your evening meals. Fortunately the type of guests that would want to book here are probably quieter than the norm so noise from the other rooms is probably at a minimum in this nicely converted house.

The lift was faulty and wouldn't come to the ground floor. Staff member had to go to the 2nd floor to press the ground floor to get it down to us. We were on the 3rd floor with all 3 of us having medical conditions and not being able to do stairs. Also, paying for over night parking - at £12.50 for the night, this could be reduced as many other big hotels allow you to park free. Also, unable to open the window to get some cool air in the room. 3 women the wrong side of 40 and the air-con only went down to 18* and it was a small room so it was quiet hot. The chair bed was not comfortable, it was hard, really only suitable for a child but not for an adult.

The staff was really nice understanding helpful but as soon as we got the room the bed was like a brick the heating was just to confusing didn’t work really there was only one pillow on the bed had to go down 2 times for different pillows we left the room for the day and put the sign on the door that it needed to be clean and we came back about 8 at night after leaving at 11 in the morning and nothing had been done even tho the cleaners was at the floor we was on no lock on the bathroom door what confused me even if I’m with my Mrs I do like privately when going toilet the shower was horrible my Mrs couldn’t clean her hair it was that weak I used a paper cup to clean my self properly the tv didn’t really work or the remote I know it’s budget hotel but come one now all the faults I paid over 100 pounds and I would expect some decent space

We had a superior twin (questionable) Room 174 !! Tiny window, no real day light, no view. Had to have the lights on during the day. Shower was very noisy and took a bit of encouragement to work. Beds were side by side. Just call it a large double really. Hard to get shower gel etc out of bottles !

Always love the Belmont

In the single rooms there are no coffee machines like in the doubles. My only complaint
