How does it work?

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We stayed in a twin room which is efficient. There is a sink in the room. Staff were fantastic. They helped us in every way, from swift checking in to providing information about the accommodation and the nearby amenities. Location is excellent as in Belfast City centre and across from a bus tour company. Breakfast in the Causeway Café next door was fantastic. Staff at the café are wonderful too. The free tea and coffee facility is a great idea.

We had issue with a smell in the room that came from the carpet. We had to leave the window open most of the time. Not sure if we would have managed to do this in the winter. There was some noise in the corridor at night which was not great.

Lovely remote location, not overlooked. Lots of wildlife and birds. Lovely little stream running alongside the property. WiFi was an excellent service provided as phone signal was low in the area

The farm over the road was a bit hostile, we parked on their front when we were first approaching the lodge (we were worried we were lost) to get our bearings and were vacated promptly! Luckily the lodge was only about 50 yards further on the track

Breakfast - had full English but the streaky bacon was very undercooked (streaky bacon is fatty so it needs to be crispy or is rather unpleasant). No beans or hash browns. No offer of whole meal bread

I was travelling here for business, staying in this hotel for two nights. I arrived at the hotel my room wasn't ready returned later and the room that I booked still wasn't ready so they gave me another room 127 the staff was rude and not interested !! Avoid getting this room at all cost ! The bathroom was covered in MOULD, MOULD in the bathroom sink,MOULD on the bathroom floor & in the fan on the bathroom wall. MOULD on the seat that was beside the shower. The bathroom sunk, IT SMELLED SO BAD it was honestly sickening. This hotel claimed to be 4 stars I would not rate it 4 stars I would give it minus stars if I could !!. I checked the bed also I pulled back the sheet and there was loads of hairs from other people underneath the sheet on the mattress ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING !!! I went away one morning and came back into my room it looked liked the room was tidied the bed was made but the sheets were never changed from me sleeping in it the night time before. The towel I used for a shower it states leave it on the floor and they will take it away and bring a clean one. Well that didn't happen my towel that I left on the floor after a shower when I came back into the room after it "suppost" to be cleaned the the cleaner had hung the wet towels back up on the towel bar and didn't give me clean ones !!!. There was also loads of little fruit flies/ mites that kept appearing in the room. It was so DISGUSTING ! honestly If had another choice I would of took my bags and left but I was stuck there for work. My room was connected to another person's room with a door in the middle I could hear everything they were doing, I could hear there alarm going off in the morning. I don't think it's very safe for a woman travelling alone to have a room connected to another guest !!!
