How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

  • Hatta Resorts

    - “Great location, comfy and stylish accommodation, great facilities. We really appreciated the terrace with the bean bag bed for chilling out in the evening (night sky above your head) and the chairs and table for the breakfast that we ordered at the reception, and which got delivered to the door step. The lodge is top notch, with a proper fridge incl. freezer, a sympathetic shower and bathroom considering the total area of the lodge. It's unbelievable that everything fit in and is really good quality. Oh, and did I mention the comfy bed?”

  • Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, an IHG Hotel

We had a dinner and breakfast at the restaurants on the premises and both were exceptionally well priced & delicious”

  • FAV TOKYO Nishinippori

    - “Check in was easy, there’s a machine you just scan the QR given to you & scan your passports. Really friendly staffs!! Love our interactions & all very helpful with any questions we had. Room: We’re a small family of 3 (with a toddler) and decided we needed a bigger room + small kitchenette and this was the perfect solution for us! You’ve space for 1 large, 1 medium & 1 cabin size luggage comfortably. And a foldable stroller. Everybody gets their own bed (although the mattress is a bit hard for me but my husband loves stiff mattresses) The room is fully equipped, we could cook some easy breakfast in the room & microwave food. Amenities provided like cutleries, plates, knives, scissors, microwave and more! They even have a small portable vacuum which was awesome! Also love that the toilet is separated from the shower!! Connectivity: It’s a newly built & a modern hotel, right by several key train station lines to tourist attractions! It’s a few minutes walk to JR Nishinippori line which takes you directly to Shibuya, Ginza (through Yurakucho) Shinjuku & Harajuku. It’s also a few mins walk to Chiyoda Line which can easily take you directly to Tsukiji Station (the famous Tsukiji market) All you need is the Google Maps app and you’re ready to use the trains like a pro. Right by our hotel there’s a lift (for family using stroller or wheelchair) so it’s pretty accessible for everyone. Convenience: Right in-front of hotel there’s a Daily Yamazaki that is opened from 6:30am till 9:00pm so you can buy drinks/sandwiches. They can also do the Yamato Transport for your luggages if you need to send your luggage across Japan! (Send before 9:30am day before your arrival at new city so it arrives just as you are) Food is easily available around hotel: Ramen shops, Yoshinoya, McDonalds so you’ll never be hungry.”

  • Hotel Betmanowska Main Square Residence Adults Only

    - “Breakfast was plentiful you could order what you liked, and if you were feeling brave you could have a prosecco with breakfast, everything was amazing! So thoughtful in the room a bottle of prosecco was waiting for us, also some lovely large apples, and the last day they gave us a bottle of wine, also the mini fridge which was free of non alcohol drinks which was restocked every day.”

  • SENSI Azores Nature and SPA

    - “Our stay at SENSI Azores Nature and SPA was wonderful, despite the weather in early April! The rooms were a comfortable size and the private pool was heated (although a little cold for April). We enjoyed the indoor heated pool as well that wasn't super busy. The property was great, but the best part of this place was the staff. It was our first time traveling internationally with our 10 month old, and everyone, especially the dining staff were incredibly nice and accommodating.”

  • Sultans Royal Hotel

    - “My stay at Sultan's Royal Hotel in Istanbul was nothing short of fantastic! The hotel's location is absolutely superb, with an array of restaurants and tourist attractions within easy walking distance. What truly made my stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality provided by the hotel staff, particularly Sonia. She went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was comfortable and memorable. Every morning, Sonia greeted me with a warm smile and her caring demeanor made me feel right at home. Her attention to detail, especially during breakfast, was impeccable. She consistently checked in to see if there was anything else I needed, making sure I started each day on the right note. Furthermore, I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were immaculate, and the entire property was well-maintained throughout my stay. It's evident that the staff takes great pride in ensuring a pristine environment for guests.”

The location was a God-send. Having missed my flight, I was too exhausted to return home and just having dropped in for coffee, I was able to book a room for the night prior to my rescheduled trip. The staff on the front desk and in the bar were terrific.

    • Negative section of review

The lack of natural air in the rooms. But otherwise, the room was quiet and very well appointed.

Breakfast choices were excellent. It was a buffet style offering with something for every taste, with good coffe and tea selection.

The property is on many levels, so if you have issues negotiating stairs, it’s not ideal. Mum struggled a bit, but the staff were kind enough to immediately switch our room to one on the lower level.

      1. It was a homeless shelter with vulnerable people with anti-social habits, such as smoking and drugs. 2. The room was tiny. 3. The covers and quilt were dirty. 4. The bathroom was bizarre. 5. No shower gel, soap etc. 6. Very noisy, thin walls. 7. Either homeless residents or the hotel doing laundry after midnight, we were kept up with washing machines spinning. 8. The locks were very poor quality, we did g feel safe to leave our belongings there. 9. There was blood on the wall. 10. The room was advertised with a view, there was no view. Later I realised the ‘hotel’ had sent a message saying this was booking.com’s fault because they couldn’t change it. Whatever. It made no difference as the blinds were broken anyway. 11. The whole place stank of cigarettes, weed, whatever else people were taking. 12. The entrances stank of urine. 13. Weird blood or whatever stains on the front door. 14. The front door key worked very badly and you nearly sprained your wrist to open it. 15. Because the key was an issue, and you only had one key, the door was left open, and strange sorts were coming and going. We encountered random people just standing around near the rooms looking up to no good. 16. No communication from the ‘hotel’ after a complaint. 17. The residents of Inverness know about this place and have a very grim view of how it operates. 18. Many of the reviews look fake, when you venture off booking.com onto Tripadvisor and look at the negative reviews a clearer picture akin to our experience emerges. 19. There was a glowing light on the heater that was so bright you could get a tan from it. Between that and the laundry going on, and the general dread, it was not a comfortable stay. 20. The internet was next to useless. I will be claiming back a full refund. This is the worst ‘hotel’ experience I’ve ever had.
