Loved the very well kept greenery (the shadow of trees is so much more enjoyable than the one of anything man made). The Gajapuri is a tranquil paradise with a nice pool & beach. Breakfast is delicious with a lot of variety. Staff is professional and always eager to help. The closeness of a lot of great restaurants of all types is an extra asset. Highly recommend (just one caveat: rather think twice about going there with children).

Santhiya Koh Chang Resort offers modern rooms on Klong Prao Beach, which is part of National Marine Park on the Gulf of Thailand. It features an outdoor pool and restaurant. So special! No too remote as there is a shuttle to the main road and also it is walkable in the evening. There are two restaurants on the beach very near. Plus the resort is so nice that you don't want to leave.

Koh Chang is a beautiful island—not only is the island itself lovely but so are the people who live there. No exception at Lonely Groove: Lemon and her sister were so happy, kind and caring, their big smiles and warmth reminded me of being at home with my mom. I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. I loved chatting to them before heading out to explore or after coming back from a long day in the sun. Some notes: the bungalows are further inland which means less foot traffic and noise from other hotels/bars; it's peaceful, quiet and clean; the beach is less than five minutes away (stop by all cafes/restaurants on the way to/from the beach!); my bungalow was modest and roomy, had all the necessities, including a mosquito net, and aircon didn't cost much more; hammock on the outside patio; watch out for monkeys who want to take your food! I would love to come back.

Providing garden views, Tropical Paradise Leelawadee Resort in Klong Prao Beach offers accommodation with a shared kitchen that has a microwave and a toaster, a garden and a terrace. The staff is so friendly and genuinely care about your stay. They ask you if things are ok each time they see you and happily talk about your trip etc. The rooms are clean, nice pool. Bella the dog is so sweet.

Positioned in the beginning of the less touristic side of the island, the situation is extremely relaxed and intimate. we had a bungalow i front of the sea and it was beautiful. Both the sea and swimmingpool are clean and nice to have a swim there. Rooms are tidy, the staff super helpful with booking activities for you, calling a taxi, and suggesting places to see and to eat. Much reccommended if you want to relax!

Koh Chang is located in Koh Chang, 3 km from Salak Kok Bay and 7 km from Salak Phet Bay. It offers a year-round outdoor pool and views of the sea. White Sands Beach is 20 km away. We liked the location on "the quiet side" or east side of Koh Chang because we enjoyed exploring the roads and attractions with less traffic. Our rooms and grounds were immaculate. The pillows were more comfortable than other places we have stayed. The pool is cleaned daily and the other guests were quiet and respectful. The room was stocked with beer in the fridge and some sealed snacks -- good that we didn't have to run out to buy anything but there are a few restaurants within walking distance. The best coffee (locally grown) is just down the road.
