Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. The hosts were fantastic - particularly Hasitha. I was the only one staying during my visit (low season), but they filled my time with plenty of unforgettable activities. A highlight was the moonlight safari - we managed to spot a leopard during our drive which is very rare (I didn't see any during my safari at Yala). The food was amazing, probably some of the best meals I had during my stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts provided ample fresh drinking water (free of charge) which was a nice change from some of the other places I stayed. Other guests have commented on wildlife within the rooms. I mostly just saw some frogs and lizards, nothing too scary :)

We had the best BBQ of our lifes❤️ Silva (manager and guide) was a hidden gem of this place. He made us feel great and assured an amazing stay! King Reach also organized a great Safari where we could see a Leopard! Important: it is very rare to see a Leopard or Elefant (we didn’t see any) in yala at this time of the year. So remember it’s possible you come back just with some crocodile and monkey pics. Still it’s not the fault of the hotel or the Safari guide/driver the animals have enough food and water to stay in the bushes ! Thank you for this great experience!

This hotel was truly wonderful. The rooms were very nice and modernly furnished. We had a room with a small terrace, which was a really pleasant spot to sit and relax. There was also a beautiful outdoor pool with plenty of space to unwind, and the quality of the food was excellent.

The team at Wild Coast were very attentive and very friendly and positive in their roles, we were treated like royalty. The rooms were exceptional and very comfortable. The bath was amazing and the products provided were a great thought by the resort. The food was next level and we attempted to try something different each night however it was hard as our first night the meal was exceptional and it was hard to not have it again. I think the pool in both the room and the resort were the perfect size and temperature. The wildlife around the resort is great and you are encouraged not to interact with it to ensure it stays as nature should! However the monkeys did scare me a little! Overall a perfect experience and I would highly recommend at least a 2 night stay !

We had an amazing experience with Manoj et Balou at their hotel. The safari was perfectly organised, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The room and all the facilities were very comfortable, and it’s clear that everything has been carefully thought through to make guests feel at home. 🙏 They have just opened, and we fully support them and highly recommend this peaceful, beautiful place for a truly relaxing stay.

I really like the breakfast I think that the suite that we stayed in was very spacious and it was clean, well organized, and it was a treat to have the private to our accommodation.

I had a wonderful stay at The Den at Yala. The place was spotless and very well maintained, which made it super comfortable. The hosts were so welcoming and made me feel at home right away. The food was homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious – a real highlight of the stay. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Yala!

Everything! The people, the food, the location, the property - everything was at least 10/10. The team at TWH was so attentive and full of a lovely energy, the food and drinks were out of this world, and the rooms were beautifully decorated. A very special place. Definitely recommend the all inclusive, because you get the safari. We only spent one night here, but it was a beautiful evening with our marvellous hosts and fellow guests - we all sat together and ate and drank and laughed. The team even organised a birthday card and cake for me - such a thoughtful surprise. Wish we stayed longer! Will 100% be back. Thanks a million everyone!

Out of the 10 places we stayed at during our trip across Sri Lanka, Four Chalets Yala was by far the most wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and cool towels – such a thoughtful touch after a long journey. The two hosts – a lovely lady at reception and a gentleman who looked after us – were exceptional. Unfortunately, we forgot to ask their names, but their professionalism and genuine warmth left a lasting impression. The other staff members were also great. What we truly appreciated was that we never once felt pressured into extra services or reviews; their approach was natural, authentic, and sincere, which made us feel instantly comfortable. The chalets themselves suited our personality perfectly – modern, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. Every detail seemed well thought out. The food was good, and the portions were generous. Adding to the charm was the resident family of monkeys around the property. They complimented the natural surroundings beautifully and made the experience even more memorable Overall, this stay stood out as a highlight of our entire trip. We felt very relaxed there. Four Chalets Yala combines comfort, design, and heartfelt hospitality in a way that’s rare to find. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yala and would absolutely return without hesitation.
