Large rooms with outdoor shower(witch something we liked the most) Unlike some hotels their wifi works super fast. A warm welcoming host and attentive staff Delicious food. They arranged a safari tour witch is way more cheaper than what other people were offering. Really cheap. Everything was perfect.

Loved the view of the river and kingfisher from the room, fireflies at night, clean facilities, pool, and the safari tour organised by the hotel was a highlight of our trip. Very nice, small cosy resort. Very new. Super friendly staff and delicious food. Good safari opportunities nearby, which the hotel can also arrange. Rooms looked brand New, beautiful and well maintained. Very comfortable. Lovely swimming pool. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to stay in Udawalawe and the surrounding area.

Remote place on the top of the hill in a rainforest -unique location. Has fantastic cristal clean river, I extended for more 3 nights just to swim there. Grill seafood, coconut rise and fried cashew with garlic was my choice for food.

We stayed at Chill House Safari resort and also did the safari with our host, Hashan. Our room and bathroom were clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and surrounded by trees and wildlife while still close by the main road. We decided to have one meal at the accommodation and Hashan went out to find all the specific ingredients to make polos, which we really wanted to try. It was delicious!😋His wife and son were also very nice and always around. Our safari tour with the family went great too! It’s totally worth it. We saw quite a lot of elephants and many other animals in the park. Hashan really knows his way around well and is great at spotting anyone hiding in the bushes or trees. He also answered all of our questions about the different species. Overall, we recommend the whole experience offered at Chill House Safari Resort!❣️
