Wonderful time at Majentra Ella Hotel! The hotel is in a beautiful location with amazing views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We especially loved the balcony with the great view. The food at the hotel was delicious, with both local and international options. Breakfast definitely a highlight! The staff went out of their way to help with anything we needed, including arranging transportation to do things in the area (Big shoutout to Majit). Overall, I highly recommend Majentra Ella Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing stay with great food and service.

What an amazing place! From the wonderful staff who were very welcoming and gave us a tour of the plantations, to the infinity pool with a lovely view, its own waterfall, and delicious food – everything was perfect. We stayed in the pavilions, where you feel fully immersed in nature. It was clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Visiting Ella and staying in this homestay just outside the city centre was the highlight of my recent trip to Sri Lanka. The accommodation represents excellent value for money and was more than adequate for the time I spent there. The room was large in size and the homestay in general was built to what I thought was a high level of quality with very high ceilings and lots of wood used throughout the building. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was designed to a high standard. This was easily one of the best examples of a homestay I say anywhere in Sri Lanka. What I found really excellent about this place was the staff, Over the several days I spent at this homestay I got to know Pasindu and Noman and given the excellent rapport I got with these guys I decided to do Wild Steps tour with Pasindu, which was basically a motorbike tour to all the major sites for one day, which I left all the travel planning and guiding to Pasindu. I also was easily convinced on my last night to take part in a Sri Lankan cooking class at the homestay with Noman and Pasindu which gave me a great deal of insight of how to make Sri Lankan food. This involved going to the local market and buying a bunch of ingredients and then coming back to the homestay and making a feast. Both activities were absolutely fantastic! What I can't express enough is what legends both of these guys were and how excellent this accommodation was. In hindsight if I planned my itinerary again I probably would have skipped the rest of my trip going down to the coast (Tangelle, Merissa and Galle) and would have spent the time in Ella, backtracking back to Colombo via Kandy and spending more time in the cultural triangle.

It felt like our own private retreat, away from the noise of the world. 2. The Design & Decor The suite was tastefully designed with a blend of luxury and Sri Lankan charm. Every detail from the elegant furniture to the calming color palette—made us feel pampered. 3. The Garden and Views Waking up to the sound of birds , monkeys and a view of the lush garden was magical. 4. The Warm Hospitality The team at Andriyala went above and beyond. Their kindness and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. 5. The Bath and Relaxation Amenities I especially loved the bathtub and the view ❤️ 6. The Food The food was exceptionalfresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We still talk about the local breakfast we had on the balcony.🍃 7. The Romantic Vibe We went with honeymoon package..It was the perfect romantic setting for us as a couple. Candle-lit dinners,bed decos, and peaceful nights made it feel like a second honeymoon.
