We took “making and tasting tea tour”, it was incredible experience to collect the tea and see in my own eye what I saw in National geographic. I really liked the hotel because it was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and made sure I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast had many options, including fresh fruits, bread, and warm dishes. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed it every morning. The location was also very good because it was near shopping areas and public transport. It was easy to go to different places from the hotel.

The view from the room, restaurant, pool is just stunning. Room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I like the fact that you can use the pool anytime you want (night or early morning) so you can avoid any crowd.

We stayed at Simpson’s Forest – Luxury Boutique Resort & Spa in February 2025 and had a truly memorable experience. The location is absolutely stunning—set among lush tea plantations and forested hills, it’s the perfect retreat if you’re looking to relax and disconnect from the busy city life. The double room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The food throughout our stay was excellent, with a great mix of local and international dishes. The value for money here is exceptional, especially considering the level of service and quality of the facilities. The staff were a major highlight. The front desk team were warm, professional, and very helpful. A special mention to Wasantha at the restaurant—he was incredibly kind and accommodating, making each meal feel like a personalized experience. The only small downside is that the resort is located about 45 minutes by tuk tuk from Kandy city center, which can make getting back and forth a bit of a trip. That said, the peaceful setting more than makes up for the distance. We highly recommend Simpson’s Forest to anyone visiting Kandy and looking for a scenic, peaceful, and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely love to return!

Very clean and nice staff.

It felt like we were in our own little secluded world. The location is dreamy and peaceful. We specially love the pool and its view, couldn't get enough of it! The staff here were so kind and attentive, they took great care of us and made us feel right at home. We are very grateful for their warm hospitality and couldn't wait to come stay here again! For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat away from hustle and bustle I would highly recommend this lovely oasis.

The property was large and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen, great WiFi and air conditioning. The shower and bathroom were very good. My host was wonderful, and I really recommend staying here.
