Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It's just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance. The hosts were fantastic - particularly Hasitha. I was the only one staying during my visit (low season), but they filled my time with plenty of unforgettable activities. A highlight was the moonlight safari - we managed to spot a leopard during our drive which is very rare (I didn't see any during my safari at Yala). The food was amazing, probably some of the best meals I had during my stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts provided ample fresh drinking water (free of charge) which was a nice change from some of the other places I stayed. Other guests have commented on wildlife within the rooms. I mostly just saw some frogs and lizards, nothing too scary :)

Amazing staff, always ready to help, they have a solution for everything. My wife fell ill, and we stayed two extra nights and we received all the help we needed. Turtle watch is amazing and it is 100 meters away from the hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay – it truly is a dream destination. Every detail has been carefully taken care of by the owners, reflecting their dedication. What stands out the most is how they’ve managed to combine a sense of luxury with a laid-back, natural ambiance. It never felt overdone, but perfectly integrated with the surrounding nature, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The staff, both in the restaurant and in maintaining the property, were outstanding – attentive, professional, discrete and always smiling. We really appreciated the exceptional attention to every aspect. A truly unforgettable stay.

We had the best BBQ of our lifes❤️ Silva (manager and guide) was a hidden gem of this place. He made us feel great and assured an amazing stay! King Reach also organized a great Safari where we could see a Leopard! Important: it is very rare to see a Leopard or Elefant (we didn’t see any) in yala at this time of the year. So remember it’s possible you come back just with some crocodile and monkey pics. Still it’s not the fault of the hotel or the Safari guide/driver the animals have enough food and water to stay in the bushes ! Thank you for this great experience!

This hotel was truly wonderful. The rooms were very nice and modernly furnished. We had a room with a small terrace, which was a really pleasant spot to sit and relax. There was also a beautiful outdoor pool with plenty of space to unwind, and the quality of the food was excellent.

The host was extremly friendly and helpful. Apartment was amazingly clean and cozy, also the room is huge. The garden was maybe the best part, very nicely groomed and full of birds and peacooks whose singing is the best alarm clock ever. Breakfast and dinner were yummy and the host also makes great cocktails. By far the best place we have stayed in in sri lanka. Highly recommed! :)
