It offers Ayurvedic spa treatments, a beautiful infinity pool and spacious rooms and suites with private balconies with free Wi-Fi. We stayed at Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa for 8 nights and were 100% satisfied. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety - spicy local dishes, continental options, lots of seafood, fruits, and yummy desserts. It was easy to find kid-friendly meals, and the restaurant staff were top-notch. Our cottage was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable, with great soundproofing from top neighbors. Housekeeping was fast and flawless special thanks to Thasitha and Viraj for keeping everything spotless. The resort was peaceful and not too crowded. The pool was clean and well-designed for both kids and adults, with a nice bar nearby. The beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming in June. We also loved the kids’ animation. Richie, the animator, kept kids entertained with fun activities, giving parents time to relax. He was friendly, creative, and great to chat with. This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in - clean, cozy, family-friendly, and well-managed. Highly recommended!

For convenience, Airport shuttle services are available at a surcharge. It was clean, well maintained and the service was impeccable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The chef cooked new styles of curries for us everyday. The beach is very clean and beautiful.

The property is around 1.9 km from Sri Muththu Mariyamman Kovil, 3.3 km from Sri Munai Murukan Kovil and 5.2 km from Valaichchenai Harbour. The resort also features free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. A secluded and relaxing place. Villa is was very spacious and well appointed. Joseph the host was very accommodating. The accommodation is right on the beach. Watch the fishermen haul in the nets in the morning. Meals were very good although not cheap. A little bit out of the way but if you want total relaxation, seclusion and a peaceful stay at a very reasonable price for the area this is highly recommended. The touches of candle lit on the terrace at night, flower pond at the entrance of the villa, nice eating area all add to the atmosphere.

After being to Suwa Piyasa at Giman Free Beach Resort we got to know the procedure, the medication, the food and the environment which is conducive to such treatment. It’s a unique and a purpose build facility that can create that kind of environment. It just that feeling of Relaxed atmosphere !! Local fisher folk provides fresh seafood to the Resort, great social responsibility by the Resort . Always fresh sea food is a possibility and Chef is capable of turning out great seafood dishes !! We made a decision to come back for a long stay Ayurveda session !!.
