The farmhouse is run by a young Italian couple and has been carefully restored to offer a swimming pool and Tuscan restaurant serving traditional cuisine and a wide range of wines. The estate also contains a charming living room with a fireplace and 3 dining rooms furnished in a country style according to the owners’ creative tastes. The whole structure is very good, we loved the welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and free toiletries, all rooms at Boutique Relais Villa Sofia have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms include a balcony. Guest rooms have a wardrobe. Amazingly spacious and clean. Owners are absolutely amazing. Such a great place. Going through the Chianti region often, this will be my new home here. And the shower in the room is absolutely the best in Italy I have seen. Mattress on the bed is an amazing upgrade. Extremely comfortable.

This is a lovely inn/hotel, well located to visit a number of beautiful towns, including Pienza and Cortona. The place is beautifully, subtly decorated and has a warm, welcoming vibe. Cool design, new, very clean, and well maintained. Nice bathroom products. Stand outs were: the staff! All the staff were terrific, from Paolo who greeted us, to the other front desk staff, to the restaurant staff, morning and night, the chef, and the spa staff Cecilia and Tania. Housekeeping did a great job. (The gentleman with glasses who advised on wine -- a treasure!) The restaurant was exceptional, and a prime reason we'd gladly return to stay. Dinner was casually elegant with the most wonderful food. Breakfast was also delicious. Great massages at the spa. Would recommend the couples massage experience. We enjoyed the small size of the hotel, too. We stayed in winter but I'd love to stay in warm weather when you can use the pool and outdoor sitting areas.
