The pools are the most wonderful I have ever swum in. Magical, relaxing, fun. Grounds are unsurpassed in beauty. The beach is amazing and the surf is sporty to say the least. We had a ground floor room in the west wing not far from lu’au area. Perfect but oh my what a LONG corridor to reception!! Enough sunbeds and towels for everyone. Staff absolutely delightful. Loved the shampoos and conditioners. Loved having a tub and shower. Wonderful good value taster session on golf course for our son. Loved the ice and washer dryer machines. Perfect! Nice shops. Perhaps a book selection? Or book exchange (how Aloha would that be 🫶)

The breakfasts each day were excellent. Over 4 days we tried everything on the menu including breakfast tacos, three eggs, waffles and lobster benedict. The waiters and waitresses were wonderful and friendly, especially Koko and Marlina!

The food was wonderful... the view from the balcony was amazing, the pool and the grounds were absolutely beautiful, poolside service was awesome, the staff were super helpful, the room was clean, the shower was deluxe, and the bed was just right... really really impressed with my vacation here, would highly recommend this hotel! This is our 2nd trip to Kauai in the whole and to Poipu Bay in particular. So, we knew where to go. Poipu is the best place to stay in South Kauai. The location is pretty close to many famous attractions, meanwhile, the rental car is anyway must here on the island. The infrastructure is pretty well developed, many nice restaurants and shops are in walking proximity, you just need to cross the main road. Drugstore and grocery stores are also located nearby in the old city of Koloa. The Poipu beach is one of the nicest here, but overcrowded! The sunsets here are just awesome! However, Kiahuna beach, where we stay in, we prefer more: it is also very nice and wasn`t so crowded. You can rent all swimming equipment here at an affordable price, surf lessons are also available and our daughter paid 75$ for 3 hours in a group of 3 people including her. Next morning, she found they were 4 in a group, which was a little dissapointment, because it takes more time for Instructor to work with 4 in the water, she had less personal time stayed with Instructor.
