Very nice resort with a view of the river. The 'tents' are more comfortable than most hotel rooms. The staff is exceptional but has very limited English skills. Various supervised activities such as climbing, canoeing, ziplining and archery are offered in the morning and late afternoon. There isn't much to do the rest of the day besides chilling at the very nice pool or doing something on your own. The food in the restaurant is also very good and fair priced. However, it closes relatively early around 8 p.m. There will be no bar or other entertainment afterwards. It is also closed through the day time.

The location is amazing, it felt like staying in magical botanic garden. The bungalows were very comfortable, spacious and the interior was beautiful. The place was spotless and no insects could get in. Had the best sleep of all the places we have visited. It was quiet, bed was large and very comfortable, silent A/C and fan. I loved the exceptionally well maintained gardens with huge variety of plants, unusual palms, nurseries and flowers. There are 2 pools, one was very quiet, without screaming children, occupied mostly by adults, the other seemed more family friendly and busy. The restaurant offers great selection of excellent food and drinks. We enjoyed the live music and some great hits performed by the lovely musician. The boat trip was a bonus and organised by the resort. I highly recommend for relaxing and quality time. Thank you all for the wonderful holiday! ❤️

The couple who owns this place is lovely. We enjoyed 3 peaceful nights in the bungalow, ha a delicious breakfast and our laundry cleaned. There’s a fantastic restaurant next door, but the cooking from Kai‘s wife is also super. Kai drove us to a good hitchhiking location and the train station for free. We‘ll be back if we ever return to the area!

Staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The setting is incredible as is the history of the site. Highly recommend visiting the Hellfire Pass Interactive centre on the hill above the site. Using the free bicycles to explore the local area and villages is also a must. Stunning views to sit and watch the sunset and beautiful Thai massage offerings. The setting is just so unique and in keeping with the history of events that took place here during the second world war.
