Great place, small hotel with sweet furnished rooms. Great pool with awesome view to river. We were pretty much alone most of the time, hence it was very quiet. Breakfast was typical Thai - rice, egg, chili or white toast with marmalade, hence a simple question of taste. Location was good, very close to a great vegan/vegetarian restaurant. Staff was very helpful and always eager to answer all questions.

With mountain views, Khao Poon Camping is located in Kanchanaburi and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar, garden, outdoor fireplace and picnic area.

Property was amazing. Stunning location (better than the pictures) with everything you need on site - food, drinks, fire wood ect. The included breakfast was great too! We were provided cheep lifts to and from the town by the staff who were super friendly, nice and accommodating to us during our stay - even putting us in touch with some locals who could provide us with an hour lift to and from the national park. We slept incredibly well. The tents have good air con and electricity inside and the beds are comfy and clean. We had 0 mosquitos during our stay. The tents are super private with plenty of space for a couple. Honestly I can’t stress how amazing this property was and couldn’t recommend it more. My only regret is not having stayed for longer. We’ve stayed in some amazing places on our trip but this was just above and beyond.

The location is brilliant, a 4 min walk to the River Kwai bridge along path right at the entrance to the hotel Our room was fabulous, big comfortable bed and a lovely terrace overlooking the river next to a swimming pool The restaurant meals were also v good and inexpensive This is a top hotel with beautiful well kept grounds

We loved to stay at this authentic Thai Hotel with Rooms/Bungalows in the water. Staff and owner were very noce, free Kayak is a plus.

Place is lovely and this end of Kanchanaburi is quieter, it has a nice pool but no bar for evening. However, there is a great restaurant over the road where we eat well every night for about 400 baht including Changs😀plus there is a 7 eleven just up the road. Also quicker to get off at Saphan Kwae Yai rather than main Kanchanaburi station as long as you can walk 300 yards
