Being a (very) frequent traveller, I put emphasis in comparing newly developed hotel project across the world. The Riva Vista sticks out from among comparable developments. Although the area, where it is located, might not seem the most attractive on the first sight, on the second sight you will realize that given the location the tranquility will outweigh a central location in downtown Chiang Rai. And indeed, everything important is within a reasonably short driving distance, the magnificent Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) even within a 5-6 mins walking distance from the hotel. What absolutely sticks out, is the architectural and design concept of Riva Vista, the amazing riverfront garden and the incredible restaurant. Both for the breakfast choice, as well as for a la carte dining options the restaurant offers real haute cuisine style of experience. Truly amazing! The whole feeling is rounded up by the beuatifully designed, comfortable and spacious rooms, with panoramic bathrooms. Basement rooms even have direct access to the pool from the room. The efforts and friendliness of the hotel staff are also a clear assett, but given the higher range (star-categorization) of the property, this is almost self-evident at stylish hotels in Thailand. Being a great fan of such contemporary boutique hotel concepts I wish to express my highest appreciation to the owners, authors and the management of this outstanding hotel concept.

It really is a kids paradise. Pool is clean. Our girl loved feeding the rabbits. Lots of other kids for her to play with too, she didn't want to leave. Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is nice too. You can make you own waffles and lots of fresh fruit. We would definitely go back but would like a more modern room.

This place is heaven on earth if you want to relax and take time out. Very peaceful but the standout memory are the wonderful hosts Nee and Oi. They went above and beyond in every respect and Nee's baking and meals were prepared (and consumed)with pleasure and joy and I'm sure we put on weight 😁 It is certainly not in the middle of the city but is very close to the White Temple among other places of interest.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere of the property - hosts were really welcoming and gave plenty of advice on what to do. Great amenities at the property - bikes to rent, great food options, drinks, lovely pool area. Option to get massage or book tours. Food was excellent, had lunch and breakfast here. An amazing stay! We have been traveling for 5 months. This resort far exceeded any other place we have stayed. The grounds are beautiful as well as the room. Having breakfast overlooking the river is wonderful! The Legend IS Eric the manager. He is friendly and helpful. He suggested two tours that were perfect for us. We got to enjoy river trips that weren't full day exhausting tours for us older folks. If you want a real treat in Chiang Rai book this hotel with breakfast and talk to Eric!

Very tranquil resort. Absolutely beautiful scenery and very, very attentive staff. Everybody was beyond nice to us and there were just in general really sweet people working there. The hotel is a bit older, and it shows a bit. But it’s still an incredible place to stay and we absolutely loved it!

A hidden gem in Chiang Rai... this resort is exactly what we were looking for coming to this magical place. The sweetest and friendliest levels of hospitality from the staff and offers great value for your money. Facilities include a spa with great rates, an amazing rooftop bar restaurant for sunset seekers, and a mini waterpark along with the main swimming pool and a massive garden with gazebos scattered around. TV includes some good channels including F1 and football. Breakfast by the river is another highlight of this amazing property.

This resort has everything that you could be looking for; restaurants, spa, gym, pool, friendly staff, very comfy beds, etc. We enjoyed food at both restaurants (Thai and Italian). Very affordable prices and tasty food.
