Everything. Room was very big with beautiful terrace and hammock in front. The owners were very friendly and really caring. Breakfast was really very nice. The place is in a small village which was clean compare to the other villages on the other side of the island and everyone was very friendly.

I had a wonderful 4-night stay at Krisna Bungalows and Restaurant in Sekotong. The Balinese team (both Wayans, Komang and Nyoman) were incredibly warm, helpful and genuine, and the whole place feels very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable with air-conditioning, and all have hot water. The bungalows are right by the sea, so you can snorkel straight from the beach. I also borrowed their canoe and paddled to Gili Nanggu—about 45 minutes each way, a great experience. Their Four Island Tour was excellent, with beautiful corals, colourful fish, many turtles, and a delicious barbecue lunch. There’s also a nearby dive shop if you want to scuba dive. The surrounding Balinese community is friendly, with kids playing on the beach and good fishing right from the shore—I caught several fish myself. The restaurant has tasty local and Western options, and breakfast is available. Don’t forget to say hi to their cute tortie cat, Kripik. Sekotong is peaceful and beautiful, and Krisna Bungalows is a perfect base if you’re heading to the Gilis. I happened to be there during Galungan and Kuningan, and the penjors along the streets were lovely. Highly recommend staying here for relaxed nature, great snorkeling, and truly caring hosts.

We stayed at Norman’s place by the Secret Gilis and also booked a private snorkeling trip, and it was absolutely amazing. The accommodation is cozy, very clean, and run with so much care that you instantly feel at home. The snorkeling tour was the real highlight. Norman knows all the beautiful spots away from the crowds. We saw turtles, colorful corals, and countless fish in a very relaxed atmosphere. He takes his time, explains a lot about the marine life, and makes sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Thank you, Norman, for your warm hospitality and unforgettable experiences. We will definitely be back!

Had an amazing stay in the ocean-view villa with pool! Perfect for relaxation, especially after my busy workperiod. Very kind staff with our friendly driver Ketut who picked us up from the hotel. Every morning our breakfast, with nice smiles, was served by the lovely Elva and Niluh. Hope to visit soon again!

Our stay at Star Sands was excellent. The villa was cleaned daily, with fresh bedding and towels provided each time. We enjoyed a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the beach, which was just a few steps from our door. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable.
