Resorts in Nusa Penida

The hotel is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. My partner and I loved everything about this hotel. Could not fault anything about our stay.

We had booked two garden villas together with our teenage son and everyone was very happy. The furnishings of the villas are well thought out, there is plenty of space and storage areas. The somewhat remote location didn't bother us for the few days, we booked a private driver for excursions. The beach is not necessarily suitable for swimming, but the view of the sea and Gunung Agung was fascinating. And we enjoyed the Pool so much! The staff made it almost perfect though - all so attentive and friendly. They also arranged everything for the rest of our trip to Ubud.

I have been travelling Indonesia 3 weeks now and this have been the absolute best stay! I cannot recommend enough! Starting from welcoming staff to princess bed and quality breakfast. I managed to also book a massage for very reasonable price. You won’t regret staying in this Resort.

Everything at this place was amazing! Resort, rooms, view and the staff were beyond amazing with service, always went out of their way to help us especially Rayhaan who made our stay very easy and enjoyable.

We spent 7 days at Deep Roots and we adored it. First things first, the staff. It is difficult to describe in words how kind and open hearted they are. Each and every one of them makes you feel welcome and they would all do the extra mile to accommodate you. Always smiling and spreading positive energy, we will really miss them! Second, the facilities. We had massages and the therapists were very professional and highly skilled. We also tried yoga with the lovely yoga teacher Gizelle, which was also fantastic. They have 2 yoga sessions per day that you can join, along with meditation sessions and more. Moreover, the pool is very enjoyable and so it is the rest of the property which is basically a botanic garden full of tropical plants providing shade and coolness. Just amazing! We also did 3 days of diving with the manager of the diving center, Leo and his crew. This guys are simply amazing! Very skilled, extremely professional and, most importantly, calm, kind and very sweet. We loved the dive sites and the whole diving crew and we will miss them a lot. Third, the villas. We stayed at the Mountain view villas which are beyond beautiful! You will find lots of space, a king size bed in the room and a small tropical garden in the bathroom. And the view from the terrace is to die for. Last but not least, I want to mention the food. Some reviews here say the food is not satisfactory. However, as someone dealing with food professionally, I can guarantee that a whole lot of thought has been put into the development of the menu, balancing dishes and plating. Each and every dish was carefully prepared and freshly made with high quality ingredients, possibly local. I cannot overstate how much I appreciate their cuisine. We also met the owners who explained a bit more about the background concept of Deep roots. We hope some day we will come back for Mola Mola and the lovely locals on this magic and beautiful island. And we will for sure stay again at Deep roots.

Had an amazing stay at Maua. Probably the best hotel, with the best views, I’ve ever been at. The pictures online doesn’t do this place justice. Looks so much better in real life. Got an upgrade to a Pool villa, and it was the most beautiful hotel room, I’ve ever stayed in. If you ever stay here, get the room with the private pool! Its worth it. Staff was great, got a really good massage at the spa, great food at the restaurant. 10/10 can’t recommend enough if you’re ever visiting Nusa Penida

What an amazing place to enjoy the holiday! The staff are unbelievably nice! We would like to thanks to Gusman that he let me learn the special dishes. Thanks to Wayans to the helpful work and that he checked our step all the time and that he made happen our wishes. Thanks for Juli the service and your smile what just made start our morning and after that everything became so easy. We would like to thanks to Wayans Juli and Gusman and Kadek to make our holiday more unforgettable and of course for all the team as well! Resort was so beautiful and secluded from busy roads and traffic. if you’re looking somewhere to relax and unwind from everything this is the right place because it literally is middle of the island and not much attraction around the resort. Pool and restaurant were great and food and fresh juice were delicious, only problem for me personally was the internet connection and didn’t think about this much since it gave me an opportunity to focus on other things.
