Everything was great and everything exceeded our expectations! View was just amazing! Sleeping with the ocean waves sound, fresh air from the outside, quiet environment... Just perfect. Room was clean, and cleaned again as soon as you get out :) Stuff is kind and ready to assist with anything. Just love for them! ❤️
Suggestion not to go with too much luggage as there are only stairs available. :)

The peacefulness is just what we sometimes need away from the rush of our daily life's give you time to reboot.

Everything went well! We had everything we needed on the boat and the guys doing the transport were very nice. The park it self is beautiful and we could explore it by car in the afternoon when the sun was too hot to stay by the beach.

The town is really well maintained, the roads are clean and...
The town is really well maintained, the roads are clean and well kept. The gardens are very pretty between the main streets. There is just enough shops to be comfortable but the place is small enough to get anywhere fairly quickly. Ideal little break away town. If you are a kite surfer this is probably your paradise.

The place has changed dramatically over the years and not necessarily in a good way. The new houses are all massive and it is very overpopulated. The beach was a big disappointment due to the severe mass of debris, like plastic etc. that washed up from the ocean.

The exceptional hospitality - friendly staff who did everything possible to make our stay as awesome as it was.
Meeting so many of the staff some of whom are interns hoping for permanent employment. Their friendly - positivity mad us feel so welcome.
This establishment is a must for everybody even more so South Africans.
The restaurant was beautiful and the menu was exciting. They even delivered orders to our cottage just before the kitchen closed.

Langebaan is such a special place.
Langebaan is such a special place. The lagoon is beautiful, there are a good selection of restaurants, and water-based activities. The West Coast National Park is a must-see with incredible scenery and beaches. Come in flower season for a real treat in the Postberg section of the park.

Great to visit Yzerfontein.
Great to visit Yzerfontein.
Had a good morning on the beach, walking about the town and going to the harbour. Enjoyed swimming in the icy ocean.
Could have had an extra day to visit some of the restaurants and stores.
We stayed a few kms out of town, but next time will look to stay on the beachfront or nearby.

Be careful what you are booking for.
Be careful what you are booking for. I booked a 'room' but ended up in a tent over a mile away from the Centre (shown on property's photo) along a sand track and across a main road.
The tent had water but I was told it was not drinkable. There was no gas so I couldn't boil it.
'Breakfast included' but that was back at the Centre. When I complained I was told 'rooms are over zar 1000 at the Centre'

Langebaan offers a beautiful coastal escape with a lively daytime atmosphere and convenient access to shops and restaurants. The staff at Club Mykonos were exceptionally friendly and professional, adding warmth to the stay. However, the evenings felt quiet, with limited entertainment options once most venues closed. While the casino remains open until 3am, other activities wind down early, which may leave night owls wanting more.

had the best time at De Vuurtoren. The place looked even better in person than in the photos. The decor was beautiful, calm, and inviting, and you can tell how much love went into setting up every detail. Everything was spotless and well maintained, which made the stay feel easy and comfortable.
The owner was lovely. She was kind, warm, and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. You don’t often meet people who care that much about their guests, and her energy made the whole experience even better.
The atmosphere was peaceful, and the location was perfect for a quiet getaway. Mornings were filled with light and fresh air, and the evenings felt calm and homely. The bed was comfortable, the space was relaxing, and everything worked perfectly.
I didn’t want to leave when it was time to check out. It’s one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left. I’d recommend De Vuurtoren to anyone visiting Yzerfontein, it’s a place you’ll want to come back to.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It feels like home away from home.
It's peaceful and tranquil and the most beautiful array of stars at night.
Yzerfontein Farmstall and beach is only a stone throw away and we also had a quick pop in to Darling.
Location is easy to find, and easy to get around from the restaurant to the Bush Lodge were we spent the night.
