The Inn is laid out like a quaint little village, with each room designed in a unique architectural style reflecting South Africa’s colonial past. Our room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and full of character, making it feel like we’d stepped into another era — but with all the modern comforts you'd hope for. Breakfast was a real treat. The options were plentiful — from fresh fruit and pastries to hearty cooked dishes and the best coffee we had on the Garden Route. Sitting out in the peaceful garden as the village woke up was the perfect way to start each day. One of the true highlights of our stay was dinner at Marilyn’s 60s Diner. The retro décor — with bright neon lights, vintage cars and motorcycles, and a soundtrack of 60s hits — was so fun and unexpected. But what made the evening truly special was Rosy, our server. She was absolutely exceptional — warm, attentive, and full of personality. She made us feel like VIPs, recommending the best dishes (the ribs were out of this world!) and making sure every detail was perfect. Rosy brought such energy and joy to the experience that we won’t soon forget her! The location is ideal for exploring the Tsitsikamma National Park with its iconic suspension bridge, ancient forests, and incredible hiking trails. The staff at the Inn were more than happy to help with directions, activity bookings, and personal recommendations. What sets Tsitsikamma Village Inn apart is how it combines nostalgia and character with genuine, heartfelt hospitality. It doesn’t just offer a place to sleep — it offers a story, an atmosphere, and a connection to the people and culture of the area. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. As a special touch for our honeymoon, they even upgraded us to an ocean-facing room which made our stay even more memorable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The view from the room was simply spectacular, and we could spend hours simply gazing out at the ocean and the surrounding landscape. The peace and tranquility of the surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The bar at The Fernery was beautifully designed, and the fireplace provided the perfect setting for a cozy evening. The ambiance of the bar was warm and inviting, and we loved spending time there. One of the things we loved most about The Fernery was the sense of seclusion and privacy. Despite being located in the national park, it felt like a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The natural beauty of the surroundings provided a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere that we will never forget. The location was amazing , the village where the lodge is like a hidden heaven. The accommodation had a really spacious room and had everything required. The rooms faced a common courtyard with games and a common kitchen. The breakfast served was simple and so kindly prepared by the staff. Plenty of things to do around to relax and for adventures. There was laundry facility too that helped us a lot . Plenty of restaurants around and the whole community works together to run the whole storms river village

I had booked the massive honeymoon suite which had a bath and fire place plus a private terrace overlooking the garden with sunbirds and turacos galore. Nature's Valley has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and Tranquility B&B was the perfect place to stay at.

Great position. Staff absolutely nice and welcoming. They also help you booking activities in Tsitsikama. They also give you good information on restaurants. Rooms very clean and cosy. Exceptional stay.

Perfect location, nice quiet place but also a fun karaoke night. Most important the people are absolutely lovely! And btw please ask Simba to sing a song for you. He’s a fantastic singer too!

The ocean view cottages were excellent. Everything inside was exceptionally comfortable. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The view from the cottages is fantastic!

Upgraded the room in the front is great, lovely breakfast, staff is friendly and helpful, beautiful scenery, garden, very clean beautiful guest house, highly recommended
