A feeling that can only be described as Christmas morning as a child but within the trees at 40yrs of age😉 Loved every minute of our stay, so much that we stayed an extra night! The hospitality and staff were exceptional. I can not recommend this place enough. We will most definitely be returning next year. Thanks to top man Anthony and his beautiful family for making our stay unforgettable. Guys, You need to come here. The staff were absolutely fantastic. My parents were staying here and when there was a medical emergency the staff, particularly the two receptionists on duty that evening and the security guard, were super helpful and the manager even personally brought them home from the hospital at around 2am. The staff went above and beyond! Room and facilities were nice and modern. Breakfasts were good. Location relative to main Knysna area is perfect. Many things in walking distance.

This was possibly the best place we stayed on our trip. It was beautiful and the chalet by the water was perfect. Loved the free-to-use watersport equipment and we went for a paddle and a swim, despite the rain. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and had everything you could want. Wish we could have stayed much longer.

Waaauuuw!!! One of the best stays we had in South Africa. Very very very friendly staff. Very clean and comfy room with good beds. Delicious breakfast with view on the sea. You can park your car safely behind fances. Nothing is too much for this staff. They will always help you. This is absoluty a 10/10 !!

We actuallly went up to visit a School friend, but got to drive around a bit and found Plett a lovely pretty place with lots of restaurants and craft markets. We also loved the Roadside Cafe as we had our Pet with us and it was perfect. Wished we had more time to explore.

Great place for a week end especially in summer. Adequate shops, coffee shops etc. Nice fish n chips, restaurants and lots of lovely places nearby like Wilderness Knysna etc. Lovely drives up the hills. Views beautiful, riding bikes fine. Walks to Gerickes point.

A beautiful region, with excellent restaurants. The Grootrivier and (Western Cape part of) the Bloukrans River passes are exceptional, as is Nature's Valley. The Birds of Eden is THE world leading bird conservancy -- the biggest anywhere with free flying birds in a magnificent forest with a beautiful kloof, waterfall ,,, The nearby Monkeyland and Jukani conservancies are also probably the best in Africa. Thyme & Again restaurant is also a favourite.

Natures Valley is very special.

Natures Valley is very special. Most other bays in the area are over developed and commercialised. Natures Valley still captures the time when going to the beach was not all about how magnificent your property was. Lets hope it stays that way.

Many establishments in the surrounding area do not allow dogs. So you can't eat in many places as no arrangements were made to accomodate dog owners. Some beaches banned dogs completely, even on a leash. I found this attitude very short sighted and unpleasant.

Knysna is a beautiful town and a highlight in the Garden Route! A must to visit is the waterfront area. We had a fantastic trip on a yacht to the Heads at sunset with Springtide! The restaurants at the Waterfront are the best in town. We loved 34 Degrees South and Drydock Company. A visit to the Heads is a highlight. Knysna is surrounded with beautiful forest and there are plenty walks to choose from.

The number of bergies or street people hanging at the SPAR...

The number of bergies or street people hanging at the SPAR and surrounding area for the size of town was disconcerting. Nearly had an incident regarding the snatch of a cell phone. Wonderful little town with good restaurants and upkeep of paths and benches wonderful to see. Clear marking of dog friendly beaches helpful.
