Beautiful room with a big bed and good shower. We saw the sun going down from our patio. The host is really sweet and breakfast was delicious

Wonderful, friendly, Karoo hospitality. Small boutique hotel in a small town in the Little Karoo. Fabulous food. Ostrich steaks. Selection of local wines and artisinal beers. Classic Movie nights. Showers and baths with lots of hot water. Good cooked breakfast. The decor is original from the time when the hotel was opened in 1950's. There are many art works by local artists. Location. Beautiful lodge with many small details. The rooms were huge and we had a small fire place which made it extra cosy. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay a lot and will definitely go back.

The overall feel, the construction was very different and beautiful. The staff was very nice. The dinner options are limited but the breakfast has a nice spread.

Very central to eateries and the town. The rooms are quite sound proof. No unnecessary intrusions from staff. Was quite busy when we visited and you wouldn't have noticed. The pool was well kept and maintained. We could just drop the keys in the box when we left. The rooms have aircon which was a life saver during the December heatwaves.
