St Lucia is a beautiful destination with stunning scenery and lovely excursions to enjoy. Everything is within walking distance, including shops and restaurants, which makes it very convenient. It’s a charming place with friendly people and a wonderful atmosphere.

Breakfast was great. The favorite place that we visited was St Lucia beach. On our way back to the hotel we made a stop over at Sihle's Shisanyama where we had our supper. The place is great.
It is easy to get around Hluhluwe hotel.

Lovely, clean, expensive, friendly. Payment to get access to beaches was too much to pay daily, rather charge a once off conservation fee to get access to the beaches like a permit for weekly entrance fee for holiday goesers.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the wonderful hospitality I received during my stay this past weekend. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed.
The food was exceptional and truly exceeded the value of what we paid — generous portions, great taste, and beautifully presented. Gogo’s warm and caring hospitality made the experience even more special; it is clear that she loves people and takes pride in making guests feel at home.
The pool experience was also fantastic — clean, refreshing, and perfectly positioned for relaxation.
I was equally impressed by the quality of the furniture and the attention to detail in the décor — everything is top-class and thoughtfully put together, creating a comfortable and elegant environment.
Thank you once again for the outstanding service. I look forward to visiting again and will certainly recommend your lodge to others.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The owners is misrepresenting the property.
There was no ice machine.
Aircon was not working.
Shower is not draining the water away.
Pool and entertainment area needs TLC.
The unit was cockroach invested.

Set in the wilderness of KZN, this is a beautiful and comfortable lodge fitted with all the comforts one would need. Beds are comfy and the air-conditioning works superbly.
The outside showers are amazing, you will love the pool and the hiking trails around the reserve.
Spot the extensive bird life, zebra, buck and giraffe.
Pack for a braai, because this place lends itself to the braailife.

My family and I had the worst experience at LA Dolce vista.. We booked in at 11am and was literally kicked out at 7pm... We were spoken to in a such a horrible manner only because we had 2 extra guest visiting us for supper. Although all payments were paid 4.. We were asked by the body Co operate to leave in 10 mins.. We were asked to get out in 10 mins...

It is THE place for scuba diving in South Africa!
It is THE place for scuba diving in South Africa! We can only recommend it ! Beaches are empty and one can snorkel on the house reef during low tide.
Pity about the state of the reserve in general as it is not maintained and one often find no running water at the showers located at the beach.

Central to a number of tourist attractions, i.e. Umfolozi National Park, St Lucia part of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
The town is a typical bustling, vibrant rural town, traffic a bit chaotic.
I was staying for business purposes, If on vacation I would have probably stayed closer to where the main tourist attractions are.
