Furthermore the employees are all very kind, helpful and doing an amazing job! I also asked for laundry service in the morning and had all fresh clean clothes in the afternoon back.

The location to the nice beach front areas of Cape Town were also so close, but removed enough to experience piece and quiet. Loved it.

This place is amazing! The rooms are tastefully done, have everything you need, comfortable beds, beautiful gardens, and the balcony’s face the ocean for an amazing ocean view. The owners live on site and are delightful people, and the staff are exceptional. The breakfast is extensive, cooked to order, and delivered to your room to enjoy on your balcony. The property is well maintained and safe. Arrange your schedule to allow time to simply sit and enjoy the incredible view and relax. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next visit.

Its a lovely guesthouse and well located right infront a beautiful beach, where you can take a nice Morning swim. The breakfast was very nice & the Roibos tea fantastic! The Place is a "Wow " with breathtaking views! Unbeatable!
Deco tasteful with pure artistic style. House is bright, sunny cosy and comfortable it is clean and perfectly equipped. Seaviev from the balcony/deck is staggering with a great outlook. Close to many attractions.
Excellent service ! Kind warm and helpful. Enjoyed our stay ,and will definitely return. A gateway to remember.

Pretty close to Boulders beach. Absolutely loved the stay here. Could see the penguins from the room.
The beds were comfortable
They also have uber services to the property
The host Heather kept in touch throughout our stay making sure we are comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to spend few nights at Simon’s town

With not too much rooms in the accommodation (6) and having a professional staff and being comfortable place it gives you a feeling of being at home and being a real guest instead of a number.
The owner has a little chat with you if you want and she is happy to tell you about the nicest restaurants or walking routes close by.

If you have a rental car, then you have the perfect spot. you can go around short distance to Penguin beach, beach close to the guest house, the Navy museum etc. It is a small town to relax for a day or two.

Muizenberg is a relaxing surf beach with a few nice coffee shops, restaurants and surf shops , within walking distance of St James and Kalk Bay. It’s close enough to travel into Cape Town central in half an hour but far enough to have a totally different vibe

What I liked most is the on suite toilet the tranquility of the place, the neatness and the comfortable bed.
What I did not like was the fact that there was very little space for our food and drinks., maybe just to invest a small freezer or get another fridge., but otherwise place is awesome.

Kalk Bay is a perfect getaway for those who appreciate the finer things in life-wonderful restaurants where you are spoilt for choice, friendly locals, spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding hills. The working harbour with its fresh fish on display is really great. Lucky's fish and chips in the harbour complex is a must-including Bootleggers, The Portuguese restaurant-etc, etc! An eclectic mix of different cultures give this little gem a vibrant, welcoming hue-could happily live here!

Clovelly is a lovely quiet area in between the quite lively and noisy suburbs of Kalk Bay and Fish hoek, but only a short walking distance away from them, (about 15 minutes walk) So nice if you want to have peace and quiet while you sleep. Clovelly and fish hoek beach are really close, and the nice restaruants in Kalk bay also close. There are lovely mountain paths you can walk down and hikes right out of the back garden. Lovely sunset view from the flat.

We were self-catering, and found the kitchenette inadequate. The communal kitchen is available if needed.

We had a fantastic time staying in Simon’s Town—such a charming coastal gem! The location is perfect for exploring the Cape Peninsula, with easy access to Boulders Beach and its famous penguins, as well as breathtaking drives along the coast. The town itself has a peaceful vibe, friendly locals, and some great little cafés and restaurants. Our accommodation was lovely—clean, comfortable, and with stunning ocean views that made every morning feel special. It’s the perfect base for nature lovers and those looking to unwind by the sea. Highly recommend a stay here if you're visiting the Cape!

Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.

Fish Hoek is quite a busy town with several supermarkets to pick up groceries; Woolworths is excellent. And the town is nicely located on the coast for easy access to both east and west coast resorts - and Cape of Good hope, too. Excellent coast path enables you to walk to other beaches - my wife and I walked to Muizenberg, a very enjoyable stretch!

Very impressed with Kalk Bay.
Very impressed with Kalk Bay. It’s been great seeing the progress in five years in terms of the upliftment of the area. Village was clean and we took the train in to CT central which was great! Loved walking to Muizenberg beach and we did an early run to Fishhoek. Never felt unsafe. Will def be back.
