The Lodge was amazing. The food, breakfast and dinner was fantastic. I would highly recommend you stay in for the dinner. We used the golf facility as well and I must say it was the best 9 hole golf course I've ever played.

Cleanliness. Friendly welcoming staff. Food excellent. Environment too good. We enjoyed 7.5 km hike/walk and your Zebra started walking with us and it stopped when we stopped. the entire chalet was just beautiful ,the finishing touches on the interior design were just spectacular and they have such an amazing view.We were also offered /loaned family games like 60 sec @ no cost which was much appreciated as well. Overall, the place gave off "cheap, stingy" vibes. Not value for money. We paid R17k for 4 nights at Fairways self catering and could not get fresh towels, the beds are uncomfy, the fireplace didn't work well, there isn't much for the kids to do when it's raining and cold. We booked for dinner only to be told they don't cater for kids and there's no other restaurant open. The jacuzzi temperatures are set way too high and ended up burning my skin. The only heated pool for kids gets too crowded, another heated pool for kids would be great.

We had lunch at the pig and plough, nice menu - slow service, however, we still enjoyed the food and the venue. The Thokozi restaurant and Deli, good food and a nice variety. Sandra se Winkel was an experience - well worth going to when you are in the area.

This is a quaint small town village in the Natal midlands.

This is a quaint small town village in the Natal midlands. There are farmer's supply stores, amazing homesteads, a variety of schools, and with proximity to the Drakensburg resorts, and good springboard into the mountains.

Bergville is 'n pragtige plekkie. Soos met alle plekke in Suid Afrika tans, is die pad na en van Berville, vol slaggate en so ook in die dorp. Dit ten spyt, is dit die moeite werd om daarlangs te reis.

The location is excellent .

The location is excellent . Close enough to sani pass and close to underberg where there are many activities like tubing and hiking . Abundant in bird life . Many eating places , some are excellent fine dining places and others were little family owned diners . Highly recommended is B”s Bistro in underberg . Delicious food , stunning scenery and extremely kind and warm owner B and Rob the chef .

Underberg CBD is soo dirty,the roads are not taken care of,it’s like a gravel road passing town,but people are so friendly ,Sani park was my favorite,there’s no much restaurant,only KFC & Debonairs,Touring to Lesothovia Sani pass is a must go

Beautiful part of the country.

Beautiful part of the country. Short drive to Nottingham Road, Spar, petrol station. It rained while we were there so we didn't get a chance to walk around. Breakfast was excellent, staff were very friendly and the room was lovely. We missed the TV but there is one in the lounge by reception

The city is a great stopover on the way to the Drakensberg...

The city is a great stopover on the way to the Drakensberg Mountains (Giants Castle or Champagne Valley) plus it is only a short drive to the Wagendrift Nature reserve and Moor Park. Good town to stock up on supplies before heading to the mountains.
