The hotel has an elevator, making it easy for my son to move around in his wheelchair. I’m quite particular about this, and the hotel staff were very supportive. Our room was on the fourth floor, featuring two spacious and comfortable beds. The food also suited our taste perfectly.

Beautiful, Stunning hotel, within walking distance of mile long beach. Breakfast amazing selection of everything you could want. Staff very helpful, when coffee ran out, to bring to table and ask if required more after. VIN, was very helpful at our breakfasts. Always with a smile. 😁Spa looked amazing. Pool good size and Jacuzzi with towels. Outdoor pool being renovated, which we knew. Views amazing as on 17th floor.Able to put Netfixs on TV.

We loved so much staying at this hotel! Even though it is a hotel, you get to have cultural exchange since the sweetest family is running the place, they were amazing and super helpful! The interior design of the rooms is amazing, I loved the wall art and the Asian style 😊 Everything was super clean and tidy! I would recomend this place to anyone going to Ha Long Bay! Thank you!!!

The kindness of Minh Hue is off the charts. It is one of the best hosts we have had the pleasure to meet. She answered all our questions, helped us book bus tickets, gave us recommendations, picked us up and dropped us off in the port, bought us food, the list goes on. We really appreciated it. The place is very cute, super close to the beach where you can watch sunsets and a quick drive to the center, for us it was perfect. The room is very modern and the bathroom is spacious and you even have access to netflix. We can’t recommend it enough.

The hotel itself and the staff are amazing especially for the price , pool is fabulous with a 5 minute free buggy ride as its at their own private beach area with a bar open in afternoon , the area around the hotel and the marina is unfinished but still a good few local bars and local food options , we stayed here for 5 nights after hanoi sightseeing so just chilled at the lovely infinity pool for 4 days to recharge before moving on to more sightseeing , ideal for getting the ferry to cat ba island as terminal only minutes away

Yen Tu is a mountain area with a highest peak of over 1000 meters. Hiking to Yen Tu Mountain is a fantastic and spiritual experience. You will see a lot of old temples of more than 700 years, which gives you a feeling back in ancient time.

Co To Island is a very peaceful place. We were perhaps the only tourists from Europe there. Otherwise only local. On the other hand, there is nothing much to do there, we went there to relax for a while and the place was perfect for that. Empty beaches, warm sea, nice people. The problem was with the trash on the beach. They are still trying to clean it up, but they say the sea from China is still washing up there. Garbage is a problem in Vietnam as a whole.

The karsts are beautiful, and can easily be viewed from shore without the need to do a boat tour. The tourism is a "wild-west" scenario, with the natural environment taking a pounding. There's trash in the water, hordes of people crammed onto literally hundreds of boats and ships, diesel permeates the air... It's a tourist trap money grab done poorly! I hear Cat Ba Island is more scenic, natural, and unspoiled. Maybe that's a better option. We WOULD NOT return to Ha Long Bay,

The downside is the transportation to + forth.

The downside is the transportation to + forth. We bought tickets on a shuttle van from Hanoi. There must be better options but the resort doesn't offer transportation services. So, you either hire a private car at $100 USD one way or pay $12 USD one way for a seat on a shuttle van. These vans will pick people up on their way as well as cargo so priority is whoever or whatever comes first. It took 3.5 Hours from Hanoi + 4 hours on thew way back. Drivers are OK but they can be extremely aggressive on the road to meet their timeframe.

It was off peak so not everywhere was open. Some of the streets were deserted. However the boat trip was really good, busy but not as busy as in peak season when it must be too busy! The boats all go to the same places so the sea is just filled with boats which slightly detracts from the experience . We did enjoy our boat trip and our boat was lovely and had loads of space and not too many people! Maybe around 20 of us but spread over 3 decks, so loads of space!

The service was excellent, comfort of the room, bed particularly, balcony with the view to the pool and green. The surrounding nature is fabulous if you like nature. Just exploring and walk around the compound and village is nice thing to do. There were horses, would be nice if they are more taken care for, and activity of horse riding around the nature with guide would be a plus.
