Location was perfect, just 5 minutes away from the old city. 3 bed dormitory was comfy and decently clean. The staff was really nice and professionnal, and also really helpful. I could easily book the bus to my next destination and also interesting tours with them. A big thank you to Wendy for her help ! The hostel gives a choice of really nice tours. I recommend participating in the free walking tour, which is a good way of discovering the old city with interesting information. I also did the cooking tour and it was great, good value for the price and also an opportunity to do a little tour on the coconut boats without paying too much for it.

To be honest, it took a lot a time before deciding on where to stay in Hoi An, we knew we wanted to be by the beach and there were two other similar properties to this, however we now felt so lucky to have picked Palm Garden. We were blown away by the property, staff, ambience and cleanliness. From the moment we stepped into the property, we were greeted by friendly and professional staff. The reception, concierge, housekeeping, ground staff (gardener), F&B - they were all very friendly and provided us with great service. The hotel itself were spotless, the manicured garden, the beach, the rooms - it was just so clean and wonderful. The swimming pool and the beach was just perfect for us. The breakfast had a large spread and you will bound to find something that suits your palate. Having the free shuttle to the town centre was a bonus. Even if you missed the shuttle - a taxi cost about USD3 to the centre of Hoi An and it's a short ride about 15minutes. As for Danang airport, an easy ride of between 35 to 40 minutes. Across the resort, there is also a row of shops/ restaurants, making it a great option if you decide to eat out. We do like to thank the reception (male, sorry we did not get his name), he supported us with calling the airlines on the morning of our departure since the airline changed our flight time. Thank you. Overall our stay were perfect and we do hope to return again some day. We give the property a 10 out of 10.

Silk Sense Hoi An was, without a doubt, the best hotel from our trip around Vietnam! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff here are truly amazing—always friendly, helpful, and greeting us with a smile. The hotel itself is beautiful, and our room had a lovely view overlooking the river and Hoi An, making it a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options. The dining choices at the hotel were also impressive, with high-quality food and a great selection of dishes. The spa was also great. The massage and other services were of high quality! One of the highlights of our stay was the day trip to My Son, which the hotel organized perfectly. Everything was well-coordinated, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend Silk Sense Hoi An to anyone visiting the area. It truly made our trip special, and we would love to return!

We stayed in Villa 8212, which was beautifully maintained and super comfortable. The staff were exceptional—genuinely warm, helpful, and worked together like a true team. The villa had everything we needed, and it was all in great working order—especially the air conditioning and the private pool, which were standout features for us. We loved the resort facilities too—gym, spa, main pool, both bars—everything was easy and relaxing to use. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety that set us up perfectly for each day. Highly recommend this place. We had an amazing time and would absolutely return! We felt like experiencing a little luxury and this hotel totally met (or even exceeded) our expectations. The place is very pretty, the room was spacious and had everything we could need, bed was super comfy and shower just on point. The pool was exactly like on the pictures (and it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel). The lovely and helpful staff made us feel really spoiled. I wish we could stay longer but it was the end of our holidays. The stay left us with the best memories ☺️ Rita and Sarah, and everyone else we got to interact with, did a great job in making us feel special. Highly recommend!

A beautiful riverside town with lots of tailors - They can duplicate almost any leather product you bring them - overnight. I had a favorite old leather wallet from Amazon that was falling apart - they made me an exact copy with a couple of added features I wanted. My family also order clothing items and we had one item shipped on to our hotel in Hanoi and it arrived in a couple of days. I also had an Indiana Jones Style hat made.

We rented the entire property for a group of 6 people.

We rented the entire property for a group of 6 people. Everyone has their own room and bathroom which was great and the bedrooms are very comfortable and large with very big beds and phenomenal air conditioning. Communal areas need work tho!! We couldnt enter the kitchen due to a horrific smell from our arrival and there was no plave to relax by the pool. Outdoor furniture would be good. Overall, in particular due to air conditioning, we enjoyed our stay and host was very responsive via whatsapp but not sure Id recommend due to lack of quality communal space, mass of bedding and cleaning ongoing on upper level and fowl kitchen.

If you want to get a feel for a sleepy town which is not a tourism magnet then this is a place to experience a real local town in Vietnam. Add to that the Quang Nam museum in the center of town is very interesting to visit. Hopefully there will be more information for foreign visitors around! The beach is not that far and it is worth to rent a bike or car and spend sometime around some of the villages around the coast there. They have a lot of characters. The food in Tam Ky, especially seafood is awesome too!

The snorkeling here is mediocre. The visibility is not very good, and the coral and fish are not worth the effort. The town itself is chill, but the food is not so special. Da Nang and Hoi An had better restaurants.

Lily help me with Bluetooth speaker, she give us welcome drink, present us some souvenirs like painting, some tea and cake so lovely. Washing machine working well. I enjoy barbecue after fishing in the river in the front of. Cleanliness. Warming welcome. Near minimart, market. The restaurant around. I will definitely return.

Hoi An is full of intrigue and charm.

Hoi An is full of intrigue and charm. Lots of historic buildings. The street stall rarely have prices noted and you are handed a calculator with a figure on it. Always way over what the price should be and bartering yo the right price takes place. The streets are very busy and pedestrians need to be mindful of motorbikes and vehicles in the narrow streets. Seems like no road rules or courtesy displayed. Can be dangeeous.

An Bang beach is the perfect base for a visit to Hoi An. It’s lovely to have the beach for the day with the town being only a 10 minute taxi away for the night time lanterns. It's a beautiful beach - golden sand, warm sea, gently shelving so v safe for kids. Lots of lovely beach bars and restaurants but not a glitzy party place. More low key and family friendly.

Booked 5 nights to relax but reduced to 3 as very little to do and lacking facilities for lounging on beach. Beaches were a hot walk away, with steep climb. Some nice seafront cafes - local, not Western.

Hoi An is wonderful. Very beautiful and atmospheric. Recommend shuttle bus to My Son and self guide, coconut boat, lantern release and marble mountain. Ba Na hills very disappointing, apart from golden bridge a dreadful gaudy theme park. Crowded and expensive.

This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it.

This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it. Only guesthouses and bikes. Great nature and diving. You can drive up to the lighthouse, but circular movements around the island are now impossible, in several places there are collapses of stones. Look for guesthouses with fresh good reviews, they may not have a sea view, but there will be clean comfortable rooms. Good diving spots! 1-2 days is enough for the trip
