Amazing staff at a great boutique hotel. Loved the jacuzzi bar! Had an amazing stay at the Sakurakyo hotel at sunset town. A special shout out to the General Manager. She took time to chat to me everyday, make suggestions and helped to organise things. She bagged me and my son access to their jacuzzi bar. Amazing views of the firework show from there. The staff were really attentive and helpful. The hotel is very well situated. Spacious and well appointed room. Thank you to the entire team for 4 wonderful night!

The view of skyline and nightly fireworks is best seen from the sea view rooms. Comfy pillows even though they don't look fluffy but I had the best night's sleep in a long time in this hotel. No laundry service but no problem because they have a tenant providing laundry services at your cost and pretty cheap too 75,000 VND for 3kg of laundry. Many touristy areas near here including the departure station to Sun World, the Symphony of the Sea show, kiss bridge, eateries along Pearl street. If you don't feel like walking 1km, plenty of electric tuk-tuks and taxis waiting to fetch you.

The perfect place we’ve ever been. The staff is very supportive, the rooms clean and very beautiful. When we came there one of the room wasn’t prepared, they took 30 minutes to fix the problem and for excuses proposed spa for all group of six people. We really appreciated that. During the stay we got here: free tickets to cable car, free access to water park, free tickets to kiss bridge, transfer from/to pier and at first day even we got breakfast when came to hotel at 10 a.m. The hotel organised at day we came boat trip, and every time were ready to help in every step. Nobody ask us to write a good review. Very grateful to everybody of hotel stuff for our perfect stay here! Happy New Year! P.S. if you take the room with sea view you have a great chance to see show at 20:00 from your balcony very clear.

Amazing view...right on the beach. Best view we've ever had. There's a private beach, use of paddleboard, kayak, bikes. Staff are so friendly and kind. Aline is super helpful. The room is huge with lots of light. I recommend the Seaview Queen room!! Immaculately clean. NEW AND CLEAN! The view the view the view!! Great place to relax and chill. Breakfast is amazing with great Vietnamese and Western options...fresh fruit, coffee, orange juice included.

Everything! - Perfect location to explore Sunset town. - Very comfortable and beautiful room. - Stephany was very helpful from the beginning. Few tips how to enjoy your stay at Sunset town: Withdraw some cash as soon as you arrive (ATM is available in Hon Thom Departure Terminal), there is not much choice around where to eat for a reasonable price (it’s like 200-300 VND min for a meal for 1 person without drinks). So better have some cash and enjoy everyday food market in the north part of the town that starts at 18:00 (5 min by walk from the Mellon Oasis). Don’t go to Starbucks for coffee, go to Lotus Cafe & Home, try Sea salt cream latte! One of the best coffee I’ve ever had!

I had the pleasure of staying at Poplar Resort Phú Quốc for four nights, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the owner, Van, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of exceptional. Van's hospitality truly stood out during my time at the resort. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist me with any queries or requests I had. From booking attractions to arranging bike rentals and providing valuable recommendations for places to visit, Van's guidance was invaluable and greatly enhanced my stay. His warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home, and I genuinely appreciated his attentiveness throughout my stay. The resort itself exceeded all expectations. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully appointed, exactly as depicted in the photos. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the island. I particularly appreciated the spacious shower, which was separate from the toilet room. The Moon and Poya Day in December 2025 were nothing short of magical—never in recent memory had the Moon drawn so close to the Earth. And where better to marvel at it than from the Moonlight Hotel, into which we stumbled quite by accident, having pointed at a random spot on the Booking.com map at the very last moment. Yet, as anyone who has lived long enough on the islands of the Indian Ocean knows, there are no true accidents here. The Hotel, small and almost familial (and may it remain so, for the owners’ sake), revealed itself upon arrival as even more enchanting than the photographs we had studied on our way. If at our previous lodging on the western side of the island we counted the days and hours until departure, here—after a week’s stay—we found ourselves reluctant to leave at all. The proprietors may not be professional hoteliers, but in their case this is a blessing rather than a flaw. Every inch of the place is steeped in warmth and hospitality. From one side, the morning view opens onto a charming Italianate street in the style of Portofino; from the other, the Grand Plaza unfolds in a convincing pseudo-European manner. It left no doubt that if paradise exists on this island, it is here. Each evening, the fireworks marking the close of two interactive shows in Sunset Town, observed from the balcony of our snug room, were not mere bursts of light in the sky but a ritual—an affirmation that we were indeed in the right place at the right time. Within walking distance of the hotel lies everything a traveler’s soul might desire: local shops and cafés, the wall of the Colosseum with its hidden cable-car station to Hon Thom Island, a cozy promenade lined with stairways, each different from the next, and the magical illumination of buildings at dusk and night. All of this, combined with the intimate family atmosphere reigning in the hotel, created a rare sincerity of experience: the warmth of arrival, the joy of meeting, and the bittersweet weight of farewell.
