We had a wonderful time at Sakurakyo Hotel in Phu Quoc. The hotel has a beautiful Japanese-inspired style and is located in a great area, making everything easy to reach. The staff are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about their guests. A special thanks to Dang, Duy and Lis, who were always helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Also, the buggy driver was fantastic — he even took amazing photos during the sunset tour! The hotel offers so many great extras, including free buggy service, free cable car tickets, and even a photo session. Breakfast was very good as well, with plenty of options to choose from. Overall, this place is absolutely worth every cent. We felt truly welcomed and taken care of, and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Peaceful relaxed environment. The garden and pool area is really calm. Lovely family run resort, everyone is helpful and friendly. Easy reach of the sandy bay, free electric car shuttle if you don’t fancy the 1km walk through a bit of woodland. Set just off the road that has a good selection of restaurants and bars.

Situated in a convenient location. The host Brain can speak English and very friendly to provide all the information. Highly recommend to upgrade the room with sea view in order to watch the water shows and fireworks, the view is spectacular and near to the kiss bridge. Everyday at 5pm, 7:45pm and 9:30pm has different performance can be seen . Room is very tidy and clean, comfy bed and good shower. Free breakfast severed in a good restaurant, only a few minutes away by the shuttle electric car. Will stay again if I come to Phu Quoc next time.

This accommodation was the best I had in Vietnam. Managed by the owner and his team. I felt at home here. Breakfast offers a choice of three egg variations, plus fruit, and tea and coffee which are free all day. There's also an unlimited supply of drinking water available for free. The accommodation is close to the pool (3 minutes walk) and the sea (5 minutes walk). Nearby is a small market, but the hotel team can drive you anytime to the neighboring town in a golf cart (about 5 minutes), where there's a much larger selection. The rooms are cozy, with hot water available all the time. If I ever return to this area, I'll definitely choose this hotel. I recommend it 100%.

Good location, quiet but not fat from the main town (about 10-12 minutes by motorbike). Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is a good size, clean and basic but cosy - Bed is very comfortable. AC works very well. Able to rent a motorbike from the reception for only 130k/day (£4/$5 US).

The location is fantastic, very peaceful and clean with a beautiful beach. A few restaurants and night food markets, but if you want more it's a free bus or 10min taxi into the town centre. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfy beds. The staff were so accommodating, a lovely family that were so kind and hospitable. Easy contact through WhatsApp and they were happy to help whether it be booking tours to getting advice. Highly recommend to all travellers

stayed here for two nights at sea view room last two weeks when i had my vietnam trip.first stop i visited is Duong Dong town in Phu Quoc.the hotel location is good, close to night market,you can walk to there within 10 minutes,also it is close to some famous spots in Duong Dong,like Dinh Cau temple and Dinh Bà Thủy Long Thánh Mẫu. the room is quite big,clean though not a new one.besides aircorn,they provide a stand fan,i love the fan,with it you dont need aircon anymore. staying here is very comfortable, you can watch the sea everyday. the sea view is nice,though you can see other building outside,but not a big issue, cuz Ngoc Chau dont have private beach,so cant ask for more.TV though youtube only,still enjoyable. washroom is ok, they provide basic toiletries, also free drinking water in the room,i love the fridge in the room, cuz i can keep my drinks bought outside here.the price is affordable. breakfast is simple,in mini buffet style,i love its pho,delicious,i had pho bo one day,and another day pho ga or hu tiue ga? both are tasty, you can ask staff to cook sunny side up for you.staffs in restaurant are nice,a girl is friendly and helpful,another boy is hardworking too. Lily the staff at the counter is very helpful,she can speak English, with her help,i booked an half day tour to starfish beach, and also rented a car with driver to An Thoi town, along the way to the south,i visited many places and buying some souvenirs. prices are both reasonable. Ngoc Chau is not a five star hotel,but i really enjoy the stay, will be back again,and highly recommended!

The lush, peaceful environment was perfect for unwinding after busy workdays. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fantastic mountain view. My kids loved the pool and the small organic vegetable garden. Breakfast was delicious and varied, especially the fresh fruit juices. We’ll definitely come back!

We have a very nice stay on Phu Quoc.

We have a very nice stay on Phu Quoc. The very best are all the nice Vietnamese people. The taxi driver told us a lot (through Google translate) about Phu Quoc and places we otherwise would have missed. The beaches are great and not over crowded. The traffic is chaotic but not aggressive. The Vietnamese state have grand visions about Phu Qouc. I am afraid that, in a few years, the island will be too exploited and loose its authenticity. So. go and visit now!

We stayed here for 9 nights and stay in 3 different areas of the island. As a reflection I felt this was too long. The island in the tourist destinations (east coast) were crowded and not as relaxing. The north was limited as far as food options and things to do. I don't recommend Vin World or anything up there. It looks unattractive and has a ghost town look. Trying to recreate a Disney amusement park look that just does look right on an island meant for relaxation and tranquility. The west coast was a lot more relaxing - however the limitations were things to do and places to eat. You needed to use the Grab or rent a motor bike. Also note any time you use a credit card to pay - they charge 3% on the bill. This can add up especially on hotels or meals out. Overall it is a nice island that is developing too quickly.

I really liked this island. I did not stay long enough. Highly recommend staying, hiring a car or bike and touring the island. Fabulous people. Great coffee shops. Good shopping. Great beaches. North just as great as the south.
