It is a studio apartment. The room as spacious enough for both of us, complete with comfortable bed, fridge, two burner induction stove, hairdryer. They have room cleaning services everyday. Location was amazing. You can see almost the entire Sunset Town from level 16. You can watch the Kiss of the Sea show and the spectacular fireworks show from level 16 and enjoy the pool. The building located few blocks ups from the cable car station and for muslim, few hundred meters from Sarah halal restaurant.

The best thing about the hotel is that it's situated next to the most beautiful waterfront I've ever seen, wonderful for walking or riding a bicycle (the hotel offers them for free). The beach is spectacular, too. The hotel zone for breakfast and relaxing is very cozy and well-planned. Everything in the room is brand new and tidy. The staff is super friendly. Although some of them don't speak English fluently, their kindness + Google translate would make everything easy.

Love the location! ❤️❤️❤️ The view was amazing! We had the ocean view and we could see the cable car moving right infront of the hotel. We also love the breakfast, very satisfying! (I love the mushroom btw) The staff were super accomodating & helpful! 🫶🏻 WE WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK HERE AGAIN!

The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the bustling main street with its bars, restaurants, and massage salons—yet the resort itself is peaceful, surrounded by nature, where you wake up to the sound of birds singing. The daily walk up and down the hill was a great free workout! The staff were incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and varied every morning. We also loved the free pool table on the terrace—a perfect spot to unwind in the evening. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway with easy access to all the local attractions, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Tropicana Resort - it wasn't one of the best rated hotels when I was doing the research, however it had excellent location and I decided to book it. Everything went great onsite, the staff were extremely nice, my room had sea view which was amazing to wake up to every morning. I would definitely book it again and I think it is an excellent choice for people that want to stay at a nice place at the beach and don't want to spend tons of money for it. There is also a great restaurant nearby that you should not miss to visit - Tween's Kitchen.

The buffet breakfast was great, room was spacious and clean. It is located beside a mini mart and nearby the bus stop. The night market is just at the end of the road, it is reachable by foot but recommended to go by bus. Also special thanks to Mr Hau, who was stationed at a counter beside the reception. He was very friendly and polite, provided exceptional transportation services at a reasonable price

Property location is perfect. Staffs are attentive and can speak english well. Breakfast buffet has a lot of variety. Shuttle tram ride is nicer than shuttle bus. Room is clean and spacious. Bathroom is clean and spacious. Love the beach the most! Clean beach with no stones. Not crowded at all. Water is not too deep, suitable for children. Sea water is in perfect temperature.

The Town is great.

The Town is great. Upon exiting the airport, we got a very nice Taxi Driver who understood our requests and was also very accommodating. The price of our hotel was cheaper than Grab. We rented scooters to explore the Island and that was an experience on its own due to taking the wrong turn. The night life in the Town is good. Most Restaurants are good and acceptable to cheap prices can be seen on their menu. The weather was also good during our stay. We needed a good place to relax from a busy market experience in Ho Chi Minh. Another highlight was a trip to the Town where we experienced a water show and a fire works show which is free but you need to buy a drink or food from a restaurant if you want front seats. The same taxi Driver took us back to the Airport, which was also a good trip. We could not experience the entire Island but the experience was great.

Ha Tien is an interesting area, sprawled out along the ocean, consisting of waterfront, restaurants, beaches, and swimming areas. places to drive and walk and explore. I have fun on my motorbike, ranging all over the area and felt quite safe. There are newer, developing areas and older established areas. The downtown areas seem to have pretty basic hotels not many foreigners here as it’s a favourite for Vietnamese people to visit during the holiday holidays.

Travelled around for a month... most places was amazing and people so friendly dispite the language barrier... LOVELY PLACE, West side with sunsets and east with early mornings and sunrise. The cherry was kim 2 up north , a family run resort where kindness and service was superb. We will be back

A good place for 2-3 day breaks.

A good place for 2-3 day breaks. The traditional part of the town is a good place to walk round. The streets are not crowded. There is a large ‘CoopMart’ supermarket for supplies. There are 1 or 2 western style cofffee shops to relax in such as the “Everyday” coffee shop which sits just back from the water. At night there are a number of large modern and smart Asian restaurants. A lot of money is being devoted towards developing not just this coastal part of Vietnam but also the adjoining coastal region of Cambodia.

Phu Quoc is a great place to visit if you are planning as a couple or even with a family. There are a lot of spots to visit/eat/dine and walk. The weather in the month of Nov was just too good and didn't feel any humidity or tired walking as there was a breeze always. Please do visit the south side for the Sunset town and spend a couple of days to enjoy the location and places. The only hassle is getting to Phu Quoc via the mainland and Vietjet as it was total chaos. The crowd at the airport is just too crazy and long waiting queues.
