The location has the best view in Phu Quoc. Very centrally located with lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was just superb. All of the staff were fluent in English, extremely polite, very professional especially Ms. Me. Ms Me has very a pleasant personality and speaks English eloquently. She was very helpful and extremely professional and was always around. The buggy service, the sunset tour and the cable car were just awesome.

this was the best accommodation we had in vietnam throughout 3 weeks. everything was perfect - nice room, comfy beds, comfy bathroom, beautiful pool, close to 2 stunning beaches, restaurants and shops around but without any noise or people around. also you can get around the island easily by using the free phu quoc bus what has a stop a few minutes walking from the hotel. also the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Family run hotel, great atmosphere and owner was really helpful with all our needs. This is what sets the place apart from everywhere else i have stayed and would therefore highly recommend. Breakfast was included and was a 2min buggy ride away. Rather than the usual buffet, bkfast was freshly cooked to order, therefore allow some extra time. The rooms were new and clean. We found that everything we needed was provided in the room, including hairdryer, kettle, water, coffee and tea and a mini fridge. I would definitely recommend this place. Twin rooms are larger and more spacious than doubles. Great view of the fireworks from the room on the higher floors with sea view.

stayed here for two nights at sea view room last two weeks when i had my vietnam trip.first stop i visited is Duong Dong town in Phu Quoc.the hotel location is good, close to night market,you can walk to there within 10 minutes,also it is close to some famous spots in Duong Dong,like Dinh Cau temple and Dinh Bà Thủy Long Thánh Mẫu. the room is quite big,clean though not a new one.besides aircorn,they provide a stand fan,i love the fan,with it you dont need aircon anymore. staying here is very comfortable, you can watch the sea everyday. the sea view is nice,though you can see other building outside,but not a big issue, cuz Ngoc Chau dont have private beach,so cant ask for more.TV though youtube only,still enjoyable. washroom is ok, they provide basic toiletries, also free drinking water in the room,i love the fridge in the room, cuz i can keep my drinks bought outside here.the price is affordable. breakfast is simple,in mini buffet style,i love its pho,delicious,i had pho bo one day,and another day pho ga or hu tiue ga? both are tasty, you can ask staff to cook sunny side up for you.staffs in restaurant are nice,a girl is friendly and helpful,another boy is hardworking too. Lily the staff at the counter is very helpful,she can speak English, with her help,i booked an half day tour to starfish beach, and also rented a car with driver to An Thoi town, along the way to the south,i visited many places and buying some souvenirs. prices are both reasonable. Ngoc Chau is not a five star hotel,but i really enjoy the stay, will be back again,and highly recommended!

The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the bustling main street with its bars, restaurants, and massage salons—yet the resort itself is peaceful, surrounded by nature, where you wake up to the sound of birds singing. The daily walk up and down the hill was a great free workout! The staff were incredibly attentive, and the breakfast was delicious and varied every morning. We also loved the free pool table on the terrace—a perfect spot to unwind in the evening. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway with easy access to all the local attractions, this is the place to stay. Highly recommended!

The location is perfect! It's right on the beach so you have your own private beach. The market and pubs, all are closeby. The breakfast is amazing. The food is fresh. I stayed in the double bed rooms that had a private balcony. They were amazing, with a lovely view of the ocean.There's a stunning pool as well. The caretakers are all very well trained and know what they are doing. The WiFi is the best you'll get anywhere in the world. I came for one day but extended by a day as it was such a relaxing stay. Special mention to the sweet lady at the reception. She really knows what she is doing and has such a calm influence.

Everything was perfect, the beach and pool as well as the room and the hotel as such were always super clean, the weather was also great, we experienced no rain despite rainy forecast, breakfast had a wide selection of food, staff was very attentive, in the walking distance you have many restaurants and bars, there is a free bus going to the night market with a bus stop next by, the bus goes also to the north and runs every 10-15min, the hotel is close to the airport and offers a free transport, we were also in 5* resort in the north, and Amarin was much nicer with a better location, so I def recommend

Travelled around for a month... most places was amazing and people so friendly dispite the language barrier... LOVELY PLACE, West side with sunsets and east with early mornings and sunrise. The cherry was kim 2 up north , a family run resort where kindness and service was superb. We will be back

Ha Tien is an interesting area, sprawled out along the ocean, consisting of waterfront, restaurants, beaches, and swimming areas. places to drive and walk and explore. I have fun on my motorbike, ranging all over the area and felt quite safe. There are newer, developing areas and older established areas. The downtown areas seem to have pretty basic hotels not many foreigners here as it’s a favourite for Vietnamese people to visit during the holiday holidays.

Phu Quoc is a great place to visit if you are planning as a couple or even with a family. There are a lot of spots to visit/eat/dine and walk. The weather in the month of Nov was just too good and didn't feel any humidity or tired walking as there was a breeze always. Please do visit the south side for the Sunset town and spend a couple of days to enjoy the location and places. The only hassle is getting to Phu Quoc via the mainland and Vietjet as it was total chaos. The crowd at the airport is just too crazy and long waiting queues.

A good place for 2-3 day breaks.

A good place for 2-3 day breaks. The traditional part of the town is a good place to walk round. The streets are not crowded. There is a large ‘CoopMart’ supermarket for supplies. There are 1 or 2 western style cofffee shops to relax in such as the “Everyday” coffee shop which sits just back from the water. At night there are a number of large modern and smart Asian restaurants. A lot of money is being devoted towards developing not just this coastal part of Vietnam but also the adjoining coastal region of Cambodia.

We passed on the two manufactured tourist cities, Sunset Town at the southern tip and Grand World at the north end of the island. All the beaches we visited were good and the free tourist airport busses (#17,19 and 20}. made getting around relatively easy. They ran every 15 minutes or so and made accessing everything on the west coast of the island from top to bottom doable.

Ha Tien is great place of the nature created but will turn the tourists off because the beauty of nature places is not clean and need to repairs it or up grade to make it better in order to attractive to the tourists.
