Amazing staff at a great boutique hotel. Loved the jacuzzi bar! Had an amazing stay at the Sakurakyo hotel at sunset town. A special shout out to the General Manager. She took time to chat to me everyday, make suggestions and helped to organise things. She bagged me and my son access to their jacuzzi bar. Amazing views of the firework show from there. The staff were really attentive and helpful. The hotel is very well situated. Spacious and well appointed room. Thank you to the entire team for 4 wonderful night!

The view of skyline and nightly fireworks is best seen from the sea view rooms. Comfy pillows even though they don't look fluffy but I had the best night's sleep in a long time in this hotel. No laundry service but no problem because they have a tenant providing laundry services at your cost and pretty cheap too 75,000 VND for 3kg of laundry. Many touristy areas near here including the departure station to Sun World, the Symphony of the Sea show, kiss bridge, eateries along Pearl street. If you don't feel like walking 1km, plenty of electric tuk-tuks and taxis waiting to fetch you.

Peaceful relaxed environment. The garden and pool area is really calm. Lovely family run resort, everyone is helpful and friendly. Easy reach of the sandy bay, free electric car shuttle if you don’t fancy the 1km walk through a bit of woodland. Set just off the road that has a good selection of restaurants and bars.

The perfect place we’ve ever been. The staff is very supportive, the rooms clean and very beautiful. When we came there one of the room wasn’t prepared, they took 30 minutes to fix the problem and for excuses proposed spa for all group of six people. We really appreciated that. During the stay we got here: free tickets to cable car, free access to water park, free tickets to kiss bridge, transfer from/to pier and at first day even we got breakfast when came to hotel at 10 a.m. The hotel organised at day we came boat trip, and every time were ready to help in every step. Nobody ask us to write a good review. Very grateful to everybody of hotel stuff for our perfect stay here! Happy New Year! P.S. if you take the room with sea view you have a great chance to see show at 20:00 from your balcony very clear.

Amazing view...right on the beach. Best view we've ever had. There's a private beach, use of paddleboard, kayak, bikes. Staff are so friendly and kind. Aline is super helpful. The room is huge with lots of light. I recommend the Seaview Queen room!! Immaculately clean. NEW AND CLEAN! The view the view the view!! Great place to relax and chill. Breakfast is amazing with great Vietnamese and Western options...fresh fruit, coffee, orange juice included.

Love the location, love the bathtub, spacious room, comfy bed. Must book the room with sea view and see fireworks everyday. Near Kiss Bridge and Sunset Town night market (best night market among all 4 that I've been to). Breakfast has vegetarian options, nothing to complain about.

I had the pleasure of staying at Poplar Resort Phú Quốc for four nights, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the owner, Van, went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of exceptional. Van's hospitality truly stood out during my time at the resort. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist me with any queries or requests I had. From booking attractions to arranging bike rentals and providing valuable recommendations for places to visit, Van's guidance was invaluable and greatly enhanced my stay. His warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home, and I genuinely appreciated his attentiveness throughout my stay. The resort itself exceeded all expectations. The room was immaculately clean and beautifully appointed, exactly as depicted in the photos. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the island. I particularly appreciated the spacious shower, which was separate from the toilet room. In conclusion, I recommend Poplar Resort Phú Quốc. We planned to live there for a week but stayed 2 weeks. We loved this place very much. There is nice territory, good swimming pool, mango trees… It was nice to have time there. Also a big advantage is open kitchen and big fridge. You can buy products and cook as at home. Also it was convenient to rent motorbikes just at the hotel. And staff was very friendly!

I really liked this island. I did not stay long enough. Highly recommend staying, hiring a car or bike and touring the island. Fabulous people. Great coffee shops. Good shopping. Great beaches. North just as great as the south.

Ha Tien is an interesting area, sprawled out along the ocean, consisting of waterfront, restaurants, beaches, and swimming areas. places to drive and walk and explore. I have fun on my motorbike, ranging all over the area and felt quite safe. There are newer, developing areas and older established areas. The downtown areas seem to have pretty basic hotels not many foreigners here as it’s a favourite for Vietnamese people to visit during the holiday holidays.

A good place for 2-3 day breaks.

A good place for 2-3 day breaks. The traditional part of the town is a good place to walk round. The streets are not crowded. There is a large ‘CoopMart’ supermarket for supplies. There are 1 or 2 western style cofffee shops to relax in such as the “Everyday” coffee shop which sits just back from the water. At night there are a number of large modern and smart Asian restaurants. A lot of money is being devoted towards developing not just this coastal part of Vietnam but also the adjoining coastal region of Cambodia.

The island is so beautiful!

The island is so beautiful! Thete are many unspoiled beaches and incredible places hete - just avoid the over-commercialized places like Sunset Town. Duong Dong is a good area - for cuisine, shopping and beaches. Pearls are cultivated locally and can be bought more cheaply in some markets. The Night Markets are such fun! Take taxis and tuktuk - cheap and cheerful.
