truly amazing hotel, clean, and just beautiful all around. Not to mention the great staff. This hotel staff went above and beyond in every possible way for all guests. The manager has either cherry picked these incurable staff or the went to the best hospitality school. We were truly amazed of high quality of the staff, the great quality of breakfast spread. What can I can more. I was truly in awe is this real. Bravo everyone. This is the hotel to stay if ever in Saigon. Simply the best!

Taken back to another time of continental travel and the beginnings of international journalism, the style of the hotel gives you a fine moment in the bustle of a city bent on modernizing. A mix of well-dressed tourists and business people stay here, and it's not even that expensive. I recommend it as a classy experience for a couple of days right by the opera, Western shops, but also the lively walking avenues where youngsters gather, perform and play in the evenings.

2 days Good enough for ho chi min city Shopping i say best in Han market(DaNang) or WeekendFleeMarket(Hanoi-Near Train Street) Day - 1 : -> 2 moderate sized War Museums [NOT for Sensitive People] - Pretty explicit on the display of visual evidence on how USA acted in Vietnam War to win at any cost. [one might equate the atrocities to the Hitler era] -> City Tour in Double Deck bus -> Night Party in the bui ven street. Day - 2: -> Cu Chi Tunnels - Half Day Trip (best if it's the first half of day one) -> some shopping at ben tha market, central market ( again central market is cheaper comparatively because less footfall.) -> if you still have time party again at biue ven street *** Mind you i might have missed a couple of attractions myself in this city but this felt good enough in the city. so if you want nature scenery you need to get away from the city. *** being a vegetarian from INDIA i was happy i could find quite a number of INDIAN restaurants to have fulfilling food atleast 1 time a day

This review is an addition to a previous one re Saigon. It’s to do with the airport there! If I never see it again it’ll be too soon. After a 12hr direct flight with Vietnamese airlines ( good experience) arrived to find huge huge queues to get through immigration. 630am about 6 immigration staff on duty . Took us 2 hours to get through immigration. Absolutely disgraceful. No aircon … people tired dehydrated and near fights with passengers due to queue jumpers. Only discovered later you can pay ($35 us) to be escorted through to avoid the queues. Return from Hanoi via this awful airport as a direct flight not available on our travel date , bags checked through , still had to land and go land side and join the normal immigration queue to get back into the airport . 1hour + queues this time , in fact our travel agent had to change our connecting flight to allow more time for this. Be warned . Hanoi on the other hand was much calmer and more pleasant .

Ben Thanh market is an experience but a rip off, go to Saigon square, find the lady in the picture at Saigon square make her viral as she is lovely. (She squeezed my bum to get a deal from me) Try Eddies Diner, have beers in the Aussie bar , have breakfast at the Hungry pig, definetly look in Saigon Jane next door for one off Tee shirts. Try M village The tropic for peaceful stay. See my picture for the top guy in Ben Thanh for watches, tell him in advance and he will get it. Reminds me of Mr Chow from the hangover
