Excellent location for exploring Ba Be Lake and the mountains around. Mr Linh's Adventures can arrange trekkings and boarding and kayaking trips. The staff is super friendly and speaks English very well. It's a local organisation that employs local people, so the guide taking you up to the mountains is actually from there. Definitely book the dinner, because it's plenty and delicious. And the swimming pool overlooking the lake is heaven after a day of hiking.

The location is very beautiful, with a wonderful point of view on the lake and the rice fields. But what we enjoyed most was the kindness and gentleness of Noa, and her family . Even 10 days after our stay, we still have this positive way of life in mind. Thank you Noa!

Had a wonderful time here. The personal boat trip on the lake was amazing and the area seemed to be largely undiscovered after the absolute chaos of the Ha Giang Loop. The food was delicious and beer cheap and plentiful. The lady of the house was lovely - kind and welcoming.
