The staff was amazing. Tim the shuttle driver was the kindest young man I’ve ever meet. My husband and I were having a stressful situation as we were at the hotel for medical appointment’s at the hospital near by. Tim was so positive and took us to a CVS for toiletries and then to his favorite restaurant for dinner. We called after dinner and he was there to pick us up immediately. I wish I could give this hotel at 10 star rating.

The couple in charge of the place are wholesome and uplifting. The employees come from all different backgrounds with extraordinary stories to tell. Yes, it's no 5 star motel. Though, the energy, effort, and genuine caring vibes make you feel at home. Thank you guys for such an amazing look into human existence.

I gave all the best ratings, but it’s accurate. The resort really did exceed my expectations and my family loved it too. I can’t wait to come back and golf (we did not golf this time) We plan to make Oglebay a regular destination for us.

Beautiful grounds, breakfast buffet was wonderful, pool and hot tub were great, the executive suite was a great size, shuttles were always available and the driver was fantastic, dinner at Bunkers was delicious
