It was perfect for our stay. It was quiet! Front desk was very nice and I wish I would have gotten his name because I’d really like him to be recognized for his kindness. As we were walking towards check out I heard an elderly lady asking for directions as she too was checking out and he kindly took the time to explain to her a couple of times until she was able to understand. I thought that was very nice of him. Breakfast was good and checking in and out was simple and fast. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfy! Thanks!

The weather was great--less humid in December.

The weather was great--less humid in December. The Hampton Inn near the Galleria was the perfect place to stay with a wonderful breakfast included with many selections, and a gated, well lit parking lot. Do not leave valuables in your vehicle. I learned this the hard way as my rental vehicle's back hatch window was smashed at Little Pappasito's, the Richmond at Kirby location. They have roving security and cameras but that didn't keep the thieves away.

Galveston is a unique city with beautiful architecture and a lot of history. Unfortunately, the fog rolled in and stayed for the last two days we were there making driving and sightseeing difficult. But, there are a lot of things to do and see around town other than go to the beach

My son and I were there attending the Anime Fiesta held at the McAllen Convention Center. The hotel was a short drive there and we could not have asked for a better hotel to stay at. Casa De Palmas is beautiful and the employees are awesome While at the hotel I had the Street Tacos and a Rib eye Steak. Both were delicious.

I enjoyed my time in Corpus Christi.

I enjoyed my time in Corpus Christi. The only "difficulty" I had was parking. I visited the USS Lexington during my stay. The museum did not have a dedicated parking lot. Street parking was close by - but metered. When I arrived, I was not expecting this. To pay at the meter required downloading a parking app. I was an out-of-town visitor who does not expect to return to Corpus Christi any time in the near future. I parked at this location for an entire 2 hours. (It was also a weekday when traffic was low.) The prospect of having to download a parking app and setup payment just to park at a museum for a couple hours was an irritating and annoying hassle. Corpus Christi needs to do better with parking for out-of-town visitors.

A good selection of restaurants. Breakfast go to Josephine's Kitchen or Yummies bistro Dinner at Nautico and The Meatball cafe Evening go to Tequila sunrise or Louie's Backyard. Shop at Calypso,Renee's of South Padre and Ship Shape

This hotel I dont recommend it to nobody for the following reasons. 1. Floor was dirty with sticky solution and walk bearfooter for about 5 minutes and my feet we very dirty. 2.Bathtub in need of resurvace, rust all over. 3. Mattress has holes in various sides, worn out. 4. Roaches roaming all over the room, every time you turn the light on they scatter all over. 5. I had to check out next morning at 7 am.

Commercial and cookie-cutter suburban, much like most of Houston. Given that, it's fine. There are a few small parks and a limited but growing set of multi-use trails, if you look for them. Watch out -- bike trails and off-trail parkland can be underwater at certain times!

The room was a very good price and it had everything we were looking for in a room. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of light and lots of places to plug in our electronics. The breakfast was very good, consisting of biscuits, gravy, juices, etc. The location was great for us since we were going to Houston and we didn't want to drive the full distance. We would stay there again anytime. It was also close to eating places. We ate at the LOCAL TABLE. The meal was reasonably priced and very good.
