Nice pool. Very attentive staff at pool towel outpost ( Tanya ) who was very friendly helpful and professional. Enjoyed very much the Bar/restaurant “Drift” on the 8th floor and also the Tiki bar by the pool. Front of house gave us our previously booked room back. Again very professional. All staff made us feel welcome even extended to housekeeping. We have stayed with you over the last few years many times need I say more!?

The location was amazing, walking distance from the beach and bars/restaurants. They also catered for everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach like the beach wagon, cool bag which they would fill with ice and waters if needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our apartment was quite small but catered for our needs.

Nice and clean, plenty of parking and a 5 minute walk to the beach. All staff were friendly and helpful. There were chairs and umbrellas left behind for people to use, which saved us time & money, really helpful! The beds were super comfy, best nights sleep!

you get what you pay for. First hotel I see that uses video call centers in India to do the check-ins and check-outs. A screen with a person on the other end sits next to the reception in case a person in not physically present. Strange and outsourced reception not welcoming or optimal.

Back door didn't close or lock securely on 1st floor back entry, lots of people hanging outside. Bed was uncomfortable and lastly no hot water for showering the morning we left. The front desk manager was GREAT he needs a better hotel to work for.

The town was set up by a British Town Planner.

The town was set up by a British Town Planner. It has a little of everything. Miles and miles of sidewalks and incredible mature trees. Many restaurants, shops and cafes all within short walk. Great town to walk and ride a bike. The beaches are beautiful and not too crowded. Sharkey's at the pier is not to be missed. The town has many festivals scheduled throughout the year.

This has become one of our favorite places to get away with...

This has become one of our favorite places to get away with friends/family. There is something for EVERYONE! From tours to shopping to relaxing on the beach. The village is friendly with food for every taste (although vegans should not get too excited). Take the trolly to Turtle Beach and enjoy the sunset!

loved everything except 2nd bedroom Bed. not meant for adults enjoyed the sunsets, must say cushion on rear balcony need changing and perhaps kept inside until need, very well set up , lovely WHITE towels and beach towel, spotless very helpful staff would come back but for Bed

Lovely area, we drove around the island, low traffic and friendly residents. Several nice restaurants, however after 3rd day everyone was bagging sand and closing up all locations. Time to go home. Fantastic area with our hurricanes

Not a long trip - just 2 days, so didn’t try to attempt exploring this go-round - but, we ate at Pelican Alley - super convenient, wonderful service and tasty eats. Nearby was an Italian place in the downtown Venice area too - delish.

My wife and I have coming to Florida for 20 years .We have never been treated like this before. THE manager though he to above his customers to talk to them when they have concerns. He was not helpful at al. WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed for 3 nights at a beach front resort.

We stayed for 3 nights at a beach front resort. The views were spectacular and the beach was steps away from our door. The condo had puzzles, games, books, chairs, and everything was renovated. It was a great stay. We enjoyed the Mote Aquarium, Harry’s Kitchen, Tyler’s Ice cream, and Lazy lobster. It’s close to lots of activities and food without the crowds of siesta Or Sarasota.

The only thing that could have been better was the view to...

The only thing that could have been better was the view to the Gulf but it couldn't be helped since there were two hotels that were built in front of Calini's. However, the pool, condo & staff were excellent. And we had a little view of the Gulf which was great!
