The property itself is gorgeous. Such a gorgeous place to relax in the sun and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the Santa Barbara wine country. The rooms are beautifully curated and homely, and the breakfast was good.

The windmill is such a charming touch! The lobby was cute, welcoming and they have everything you need if you forgot something. The staff was helpful. Loved the donuts stations in the morning: delicious! The room were very clean and very comfortable. I love the privacy and I’m so glad they accept dogs! Only 8 minutes from Solvang. Close to Buellton cool coffee shop and outdoor restaurants. They have a bar that serves sausages for a late snack with your drink. Swimming pool and jacuzzi are basic, clean and large and right next to the windmill so super cute. Loved the fire pits everywhere!

I was thinking of things to do for our upcoming first-year anniversary. The wifey, who is from Spain originally, told me she heard there is a little Dutch town called Solvang, and that she had been wanting to see it. Yahtzee! I found this hotel after looking through several of the available options on Booking.com, and I must say, we were not disappointed. I called ahead and asked if I could have a package of rose petals and little heart=shaped LED candles shipped there ahead of time and if there was any way someone there could arrange them nicely in the room somehow. By the time I was done asking, honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised if they said it wasn't something they could do. However, the young lady I spoke with was not only receptive to the idea, she was excited about helping, and most importantly, she did a great job! My wife was so surprised when we walked into the room. I loved seeing the big smile it brought to her face. It is a lovely hotel, in a great location, with excellent amenities and world class service. I would recommend this hotel, and the next time we are in Solvang, this is where we will be staying.
