Great location for both New Braunfels and easy to get to the highway and Interstate for travelling. Large rooms and having a separate kitchen and sitting room was excellent as I was staying for a full week and working. Very quiet off season (especially midweek) but safe and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

New Braunfels is a lovely little German flavored town with...

New Braunfels is a lovely little German flavored town with lots to see and do. I highly recommend it. There are too many excellent restaurants to mention, but a trip to Greune is definitely worth it and there are several right on the main street like the grist mill. Tubing is highly recommended in summer and there are lots of places to get wine/ beer and music. Canyon Lake has good boating and fishing and if you get bored there's always San Antonio just a few miles south.

Boerne, TX definitely ended up going beyond my expectations. Even though it's a small town, it looks super clean, has really good restaurants, local breweries, a beautiful river, also in the surroundings you can find local wineries and vineyards (where you can actually do wine tasting). It was funded by German people in the 1800s so you'll be able to find german food and of course beer.

Schertz is a hidden gem!

Schertz is a hidden gem! Nothing wrong with opening Maps and finding something you or your group are interested in! Timing is a key factor due to construction on the Freeway (i know..) but its definitely worth it, once you see what has been around you, whilst in Schertz!

Hotels in San Antonio were so expensive I stayed here. This Hotel is better than “Motel 6” and similar to “Super 8”. If you have an 18 wheeler there is no room to park. A large U-Haul will have to park in the front. It is possible to get a large U-Haul with a trailer into the front parking lot. However, the front parking lot cannot be seen from any of the rooms. Therefore, I would be concerned about the security of my personal belongings. This hotel is shaped like a square with a pool inside the square. The rooms inside the square face the pool and experience a lot of noise due to pool activity. If you want a quiet room, choose one outside the square, not inside the square facing the pool area.

This is a very nice hotel located conveniently to restaurants and the interstate. The facilities are very nice and the room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and quiet. Even though we were close to the interstate, we didn't hear any road noise. The TV was located in the middle of the room with the bed on one side and a sofa on the other. The only way you could look directly at the TV was sitting at a desk in front of it which was inconvenient.

This motel looked very inviting on the pictures on booking.com, but in reality this motel is a dump! This motel is made for truckers, hookers, and one night stands! It is not made for families. As soon as I walked in my room I knew that I made a wrong choice!

The San Antonio Riverwalk is a great place to visit. This was our second trip around Christmas. It was the week of Christmas and a little crowded, but plenty of restaurants did not have long wait lines. We stayed on the riverwalk, and the market was a short walk. We had dinner at Mi Tiera. There was no wait, and the food was excellent. Our waitress was exceptional and made us feel very welcomed. We have visited San Antonio many times throughout the years, and many places are accessible by foot. This city does not disappoint.

Landa Park is a great place to go for a wonderful park...

Landa Park is a great place to go for a wonderful park experience. They have a choo-choo train people can ride (sized for kids and smaller people, but I have known larger adults to squeeze into them. in the off season (outside of summer) they are open on the weekends. Kids love this! There are lots of play areas around the park acreage as well. Lots of wonderful restaurants!

The breakfast that is advertised is only stale muffins, and the pool light has exposed wires. We reserved two king non-smoking rooms but when we arrived we were informed that they only had 1 king non-smoking and the other would be a smoking room. This hotel was not worth the $600 we spent
