HungaryI highly recommend the Inn at the Cove if you're doing the Pacific Coast Highway and looking for a stop before LA. The natural surroundings are stunning, with a private rocky beach to explore and plenty of wildlife, including beautiful birds. It's incredibly relaxing! The pool and jacuzzi were great, and breakfast was plentiful—just what you need to start the day. Nearby, there's an In-N-Out and Walmart, which made meals and shopping super convenient. The town itself is charming, and everything about our stay was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable.

United KingdomExceptional property at a lovely, laid back beach town. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we encountered in California. We loved that we could borrow beach chairs and equipment and our kids loved the pool. It was the perfect place for some R&R on our road trip. The rooms were big and comfortable and I would highly recommend going for a sea view suite. The quality of the food at breakfast was also very high. The range on offer was a bit more limited than at some of the other hotels we stayed at but that was no problem for us.

The complementary breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold options to set you up nicely for the day.
The pool area was spacious, the pool is heated, towels are provided and the jacuzzi is fab.
Reasonably priced laundry facilities were also very useful. The hotel is situated a bit outside of Pismo Beach, but taxis are always available and although we didn’t use it, the staff informed us that, depending on staffing levels, a shuttle bus to Pismo Beach may be available.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return at some stage in the future.

Room was lovely with two big beds and a TV. Tea and coffee making facilities, a desk and plenty extra space. Bathroom was really elegant and well equipped with lots of towels (including pool towels) and bathrobes. The pool was open, but we didn't go in due to the rain. The restaurant and bar nearby was really nice, and there is a short path to the beach walk where you can look at the ocean. Staff were really lovely on arrival. Parking was included at no extra cost.

The ocean front family suite we stayed was exceptional with spectacular views. The morning walk down to the beach was great. The breakfast was adequate with reasonable spread. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The service was great.
We did not know how to adjust or control the shower. They immediately sent a technician who explained us how to use.

This is a beautiful hotel! The rooms were exceptionally clean and the room we got allocated was really large with a lovely outdoor seating area in the front. You couldn't get closer to the beach, the parking was very handy too. The bar is also in the perfect spot for an evening drink with the fire pits too

Neat little beach town with the best restaurant's most fabulous treats and sweets and nostalgic beauty. Tomascos has the best cookies and brownies in life.Cool cats offers an amazing burgers and of course Pizmo cafe has amazing Pizza and the best chicken wings ever? their pasta is pretty freaking good also. Hoagies is a staple if you want the best pismer wrap and tritip youve ever had.And please check out Sea venture restaurant.They have the most amazing 22 ounce steak for dinner and their breakfast is fabulous. ATVS on the dunes is always a good time and we love whale watching there. Pismo is all around fabulous. Most of the hotels have amazing views and sit in picturesque Cliffs and all of them offer really great pools.

I loved the grounds-the waterfall, the bridge, the plentiful flowers, the breakfast, and getting a good nights sleep was so refreshing! I was glad our room had a tub as I prefer taking baths!
We ate at ednme pizza in town and it was delicious! Getting around Arroyo Grande was easy, and the yound woman working the room for breakfast was, sweet, warm, friendly and so busy making sure everyone was well fed and happy!

During holiday large amounts of people are visiting need more bathroom accommodation during heavy visit on weekends motel prices and food
Beer go up so this is a consideration for the city to provide even if you have to pay put up kiosk to buy a multiple usage ticket . Or have vendors sell tickets so lines

Unit #508 was old, many things were broken, unusable & unclean. Moldy bathroom, rotten flooring and trim and door handle not functioning. Fireplace unsafe with trip hazard (floor trim around the fireplace - half missing and the rest laying unattached). All sinks where missing drain stops or baskets.

Pismo is still hanging on to the retro beach town that makes it fun to visit. A little too much of what looks like not-much-regard-for-the-aesthetics-of-the-town, development. And, too many tacky businesses allowed to spring up, but still, it retains the old beach town quality. A walk out the pier and a stroll on the beach, is all you need-- and then maybe a good fish dinner.

We really enjoyed our visit to the downtown of Arroyo Grande...
We really enjoyed our visit to the downtown of Arroyo Grande one evening where we stopped by Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab. A nostalgic place to enjoy some tasty ice cream and view historic photos of its early beginning and imagine what it was like back then to be a child in this place with toys and treats surrounding you. We ate a Thai restaurant in nearby Grover Beach and Mexican restaurant that specialized in seafood.

Avila Beach is a quiet town with a beautiful promenade and harbour.
Our hotel was outstanding and just a short walk from the promenande with spectacular views across the bay.
Cannot recommend highly enough for a short stay.

Grover Beach offers the Oceano Dunes and the Monarch Butterfly Grove. It is very close to Pismo Beach and is an affordable option for lodging in the area. The Spoon Trade restaurant in Grover Beach was featured on Guy Fiero's show and serves delicious American food, and the Sourdough Bakery across the street offers scrumptious breakfast sandwiches and freshly baked sourdough loaves as well as other baked treats.

Great location and cost for being so near the beach. Good rooms if you get the renovated ones. Stayed there several times. Great Mexican restaurant a block up! HOWEVER, no one on site 24/7 to ask questions and limited time when you can pick up your keys unless you make other arrangements. Also, maybe an isolated incident but they would not accept my Mastercard for some odd reason and I had to use my ATM. No directions how to use the fireplace and the "front desk" did not have any either.
