AustraliaI loved my stay at SW Beach Hotel - Sandy was easily contactable and went over and above to make my stay as comfortable as possible! Location was fantastic to be able to walk to cafes, restaurants, shops and the beach is at the doorstep - right in the centre of town, but the room was incredibly quiet at night and amenities and the bedding extra comfortable to allow for a restful sleep! Thank you again !

Easy to find and good car parking, the hotel was well decorated throughout the building. Rooms comfortable and had everything we needed a fridge,microwave and iron and a board. It Took us 15 mins to walk to the beach and when you get to beach you’ve got the choice of hermosa bars and restaurants one way or manhattan beach bars and restaurants in the other direction. Just outside the hotel is a supermarket and other local amenities and further down the highway towards the airport direction is target and other eateries like IHOP . We hired bikes from hermosa cycles very good service which I recommend doing. If you are wanting to go further to Hollywood Santa Monica etc both took about 30 min drive depending on traffic! Hotel also had a coffee shop and get breakfast items

We travelled to a few different places in California and this hotel was by far our favourite. Vibe and design was spot on. Rooms were spacious, well thought out, very clean and comfortable. Really liked having a balcony too. Jason on reception was super friendly and helpful. He helped sort us a taxi to LAX. I'd love to come back and stay at this hotel in Hermosa beach at a better time of year when the weather is better and the area is buzzing.

Newly refurbished rooms on 3rd floor, ocean side are great. We were slip tenants on B Dock for 8 years, and have stayed at the Hotel many times. The new room updates are a major plus, and we look forward to staying there again. We also like the late afternoon music in the lounge.

Beautiful hotel! Stunning , spacious & comfortable rooms . Rooftop pool & sun beds were amazing overlooking the marina. Lovely staff. Tea & coffee served in the morning.
Only downside to this hotel is the high parking charge- we avoided this parking on a street 10 min walk away.

We had a Seaview room and could watch the surfers while the sun went down from our balcony. The rooftop bar and restaurant was only available to guests which means you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to and the food + view was amazing. So many thoughtful touches.

Property is in good location 1 minute away from the beach. We had the beach facing balcony, therefore the view was great. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. The free parking was also a big advantage.

We love staying at this location, because it is close by...
We love staying at this location, because it is close by other restaurants and markets that you can walk. This location is excellent for not having to get up so early for an early flight at LAX. The shuttle service is a huge plus for us as well. It’s nice to have a little breakfast before we have to leave. This is our go to lodging when we fly out of LAX.

Love Riveria Village! Lots of shops and restaurants. Beaches are pretty clean, depends on what time of year you are there. Sept through May are the best if you want to avoid crowded tourism, much more relaxing. If you like the hustle and bustle of the beach, June through Sept are great.

Beautiful beach, and so much to do!! Live music and dancing clubs that went to midnight and beyond, even on a Sunday. Restaurants, bars, pubs, everything! Walking distance from even more fun at Redondo Beach too. We had so much fun, we can't wait to go again.

I really enjoyed the restaurants and bars (Shellback Tavern, Esperanza, Hennesey's, etc.), all of which were in relatively close proximity. My only gripe is the parking situation, which can be challenging to find a spot when it gets busy. Overall, I enjoyed Manhattan Beach and plan on returning in the near future.

The State Parks were beautiful. Topanga Canyon Road was closed and could not see this area.

Ranch Palod Verdes is the opposite of the city of LA.
Ranch Palod Verdes is the opposite of the city of LA. It’s peaceful and tranquil, it’s so good to stay here to relax and reflect. There is a shopping center which is 6 minute drive from the resort, you have everything you need from groceries, restaurants, pharmacy and massage place.

El Segundo was a very quiet nice area. The hotel is literally on the border of a community of El Segundo which was pretty cool. Streets were safe and I walked conveniently to IHOP and the coffee shop without no problem

Redondo Beach has so much to offer!
Redondo Beach has so much to offer! The beach was great, enjoyed the pier and all the amenities there! The Chart House Restaurant had great food and amazing sunset dinner views! Away from the pier, walking to Eat at Joe's for breakfast or going to Riviera Village for shopping or dining out is always a great experience! People in Redondo seem kind and helpful, I've always had a great time there!

You can walk from this hotel to the beach, but be warned: it's a hilly walk there and it is uphill on the way back from the beach. I would not recommend it with children younger than 9-10. If you are a couple or alone go for it. The houses are huge, the yards tiny and they are all so different. The beach is beautiful and they have a "Round House" on the pier that has an aquarium inside it. Wow.
